I attend a small, family Pentecostal church. We recently had our longtime pastor retire and replaced him with a new (the man is 63 I believe) pastor and his wife and son. His son, just one of several, still lives at home hes 34, not handicapped or disabled, just lazy, anyway, our church went thru some terrible times under this pastors guidance and lost all but 4 members. We asked him to leave, which he did after an awful argument that demanded the attention of the district. Now that he is gone and we are trying to get the "old" congregation to return, it is a slow process. We are n dire need of people to come back but we r unsure as to how to get them interested in our church again. Most understand that the preacher we had did alot of damage as far as the congregation is concerned and dont seem to be willing to trust again. Any advice. Serious answers only please as this is a critical time we as a church are going thru. Thanks
