According to the Bible: the earth is not a sphere... Its a flat circle. Go figure. Oh yeah - and the moon is its own light source, not reflecting the sun. (Bill Nye, the Science Guy, was recently booed off stage in Waco Texas for showing that the moon reflected the sun's beams back at earth - he was told not to teach their children against what the bible states - that it is its own light source. FOOLS)

Many Christians accept both the Big Bang and evolution. The Big Bang was proposed by a Catholic priest, by the way.

If the Big Bang theory is correct, then Science would have to agree with the Biblical description of creation. However, many scientists don't agree with that theory...neither do many Christians.
Thou shall not believe in evolution or Big Bang is not a Christian commandment; there are christians who believe and other christians who don't.

Yes, you should have said fundamentalist, bible literalists, not Christians. Fundamentalist, bible literalists not only disagree with the Big Bang and Evolution, but they believe the Earth is only 6000 years old, that Grand Canyon was caused by Noah's Flood, and the dinosaurs and man existed on Earth at the same time.

Plate Tectonics -- requires an old earth.
Human Sexual Reproduction and Genetics -- require male babies to have two parents. The Jesus Y chromosome denies this.
Newtonian Mechanics. General Relativity - etc all involve conservation of angular momentum which prevent the earth from just stopping as the bible says. not to mention all the other so called miracles which also contradict physics.
Of course not all christians reject known science, just the moronic fundamentalists.

Bad phrasing, I'm a christian believe that both the big bang and evolution occured.
YDoncha, you should know that the Bible never states that the world is flat, and I'm certainly unaware of the verse that states that the moon is it's own source of light...
