That 93 percent of scientists at the National Academy of Sciences tells me just that --- that there are 93 percent of scientists at that academy that are atheist.

Why are ninety% of astronomers, many jointly with physicists and cosmologists, theists? Why are 75% of medical doctors, who study an identical evolutionary biology as evolutionary scientists, theists? Why is Francis Collins, a guy who's our cutting-edge day, geneticist version of Einstein, a guy who has contributed 3 situations the quantity of study to evolution than Richard Dawkins has, a Christian, yet change into an atheist for 28 years of his existence? because they see the nature of God each day. Astronomers study the universe and spot that merely God can create it. medical doctors see the miracles each day and understand that merely God can do them. Have an rather good day.

What a silly conjecture: I happen to have a degree in physics and am still very devout in my faith.

In fact, if you all recall, the first universities and scientific studies were not only founded on Catholic scholars, but were also paid for an patronized by the church. As Thomas Aquinas said, there is no conflict between science and religion because they are two forms of truth, and truth cannot conflict with truth.

In the same way, the metaphysical discussion of religion places God outside the physical realms of the universe and it's laws... therefore it is uneducated to say that understanding of science or that intellectualism is a reason to doubt faith, because it's outside the purview of scientific knowledge. For that very reason, the scientist cannot disprove or prove God's existance (how can you prove something that doesn't have to behave by observed physical laws?) just as the faithful man cannot do either.

Ultimately, faith is a matter of personal choice and metaphysical concepts, they fall outside the realm of science to discuss. (the same applies in reverse, faith is not a substitute for science... ie, get over it and except that God created the world through Long term evolution)

That whole long list of "scientists" is a bunch of bullshit. What part of the study of dentistry, linguistics, plastic surgery makes someone able to make a credible scientific claim that creationism is a valid science?

Well, that just points up the fact that the majority of people on
earth today are on the wrong path. " If,now, the good news we
declare is in fact veiled,it is veiled among those who are
perishing, among whom (the god of this system of things)has
blinded the minds of the unbelievers,,that the illumination of the
glorious good news about the Christ, who is the Image of God,might not shine through."(2Cor.4:3,4)Also ;("Whereas narrow is the gate
and cramped the road leading off into life AND FEW ARE THE ONES
FINDING IT."(Matt.7:13)
So although they claim great intelligence and a vast understanding. They cannot see the relatively easy and simple
purpose of our Grand creator Jehovah God.

All it tells me is the truth of the Words of Jesus.
WIDE is the path to destruction ( hell) and narrow is the gate to heaven. 93% , if it's true, sounds like a mighty wide path to me. And that path keeps getting wider until Jesus returns.

It shows that people that can think for them self can figure out real easy that religion and gods are both just imaginary. Any person with a clear mind knows that all religion is bogus.
