He looked like a Semitic Jew.

Actually, from the shroud of turin and other such relics as well as from (possibly divinely inspired visions) we know that Jesus looked reasonably similar to what pictures have of Him today. It's becoming passe cliche to say that Jesus was probably a black man, but if you look at the Romans, the Semitic Jews, and the Arabs of the region, there's no evidence to support that claim. In fact, looking at the bloodlines of Judaism (which still remain a largely untainted race) there's no reason to presume that Jesus wouldn't have looked like an average Israelite today.

If you fell into the lake and started drowning and finally you were going down for the third and final time. Someone jumps in the lake to save you, the next thing you are aware of you are waking up in the hospital and someone tells you that some guy saved your life. What would be important to you about that person, that He was a white guy with blue eyes, or just the fact that this person came to rescue you and you are thankful for that. I think you would just be grateful that your life was spared, and if he had red, black or blue hair you could care less.

unfortunately, the computer crashed with all the pictures of His birth death and ressurection.

Jesus looked like all men back in those times and in those areas. He does not look like the stereotypical pictures seen today.

The bible doesn't have pictures in it. A describtion could be interpretated in many ways, so if no one could agree with one, we won't agree with none.

They draw such a beautiful, elegant man and they call him Jesus. Then they admit those drawings are possibly faked?
