I think YOU are trying to kill us with your foolish repetitive questions on the subject.
(you wouldn't happen to WORK in the medical field, now, would you)?
Scary thought!!!

Who in the world ever told you that a Christian should not want or like the Sciences? Thats pompus.
I realize there is a group out there who call themselves "creationists", and who argue that evolution is wrong because the Bible says that this earth is about 6000 years old, and began with Adam and Eve. Well, frankly they are wrong.
Any group you want to study, whether it be Christian, or Buddist, or a political group, or even a knitting circle, you will find knowledgeable people, and you will find some phanatics. Thats just the nature of people. I'm sure Athiests have their nut cases, too. Anyway, The Bible not only states that this earth is eons and eons old, it even says that there was an entire earth age before this one.
There is no controversy between the truth of Gods Word, and true science. Why would there be? God created all things, and that includes science and mathmatics.
The Sciences are a spectacular study.
By the way, the apostle Luke, was a medical doctor, who studied the sciences.

I will answer your question by way of a quotation: "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind" - Albert Einstein, Out of My Later Years.
Science and religion go together. The wisdom of science comes from God who is Absolute Wisdom. Therefore, it would be irrational and mindless for religionists to ignore scientific discoveries.
Although I am a Christian, I believe scientific discoveries will lead to God. In other words, science is one way of coming to a full knowledge of God.
Have a blessed and pleasant day

There were doctors in Jesus's days. Luke was a physician.
God created science. Nothing wrong with doctors, science, or medicine.
I would rather die of cancer than have an unborn child sacrifice it's life for me to live.

I know! I love the ones that have, say, cancer and go in to get treatment. They pray to god while getting the chemo and operations and such. Then when the cancer withdraws, they claim that god saved there life.
If that was the case, You lived because you prayed and god changed the way the laws of the universe for you.... Why did you get the treatment and expensive operations? If god cured you, you just wasted you money on that horribly painful chemo.

I think I have answered a similar question of yours regarding Christians and Doctors. I guess you are having trouble understanding the Christian perspective on medicine. We do seek medical treatment and we don't believe that doctors are trying to kill us.

There are some wonderful benefits from modern science. Why shouldn't Christians benefit from these? Have you ever noticed how many hospitals are named after Christians saints? Who do you suppose named them that - atheists?
Have you noticed there are also some drawbacks from modern science? Like car accidents, gunshot wounds, and the H bomb? Hace you ever noticed that how ever good mankind gets at saving life, it is far outpaced by his ability to destroy it?

You have some strange ideas about Christians..."for all you know, the doctors might be trying to kill you?"
WTF?

IF i were diagnosed with cancer sure I'd go to the doctors so that when GOD heals me they would see that it wasnt the treatment of man but the power of GOD.

No.
Because all truth is God's truth.
Look at Acts 28:8-9
And it came about that the father of Publius was lying in bed afflicted with recurrent fever and dysentery; and Paul went in to see him and after he had prayed, he laid his hands on him and healed him. [9] And after this had happened, the rest of the people on the island who had diseases were coming to him and getting cured.
Paul "healed" one man, and many others were coming and being cured. The word for "cured" is Acts 28:8-9
And it came about that the father of Publius was lying in bed afflicted with recurrent fever and dysentery; and Paul went in to see him and after he had prayed, he laid his hands on him and healed him. [9] And after this had happened, the rest of the people on the island who had diseases were coming to him and getting cured.
The word used for "cured" εθεÏαÏεÏ
ονÏο; "therapy," they came to Paul and received medical therapy. They were not "healed" as the one man was, but they were getting medical attention. Luke, the author of Acts, was a doctor and he was there with Paul. You can see this because he used the first person plural pronouns.
No, if I get cancer, and my Dad died of cancer, I would not "just"pray for healing. In my prayers, I would ask God to give the doctors and nurses the knowledge and skills that they needed to work effectively with my case as they administer "therapy" for me.
