I have a lot of struggles with sin, lustful things, and spiritual attacks. Whatever struggles I do have I just keep trusting and believing God because He can bring me through my struggles.

My largest struggle is to be cognizant of the promptings of his spirit in my life. I am more aware today than I have ever been of his constant influence and his hand all that I have, but I struggle at times to pay attention to his promptings.

You know like when you want to do something but something inside you says no you should do this instead, or you are just reading a book and you get the thought I should call so&so. Sometimes I ingore those promtings then later I will find out there was something going on when I felt that promting that would have mad that call important. Things like that.

Hi, good question.

I struggle with:

self-discipline
temptation
having a solitary nature - need more fellowship
smoking
balancing being self- assertive and being nice
proneness to be too generous
self-denial
dying to self
being overly critical of myself
tendency to want to solve others problems
need to develop better listening skills
To be more honest about my feelings with others
(and not just put on a happy face) -- self disclosure.
Shying away from intimacy

Now as far as my strengths/gifts:

Talking about my faith with others
Not worrying and not being anxious
Empathy and sensitivity with others
Wise counsel
Discernment
Building others up/being supportive/uplifting, encouraging,
A positive attitude and optimistic outlook
Healthy sense of humor that loosens and cheers others up
Insight
Coping skills
Advocating for others
Common Sense

The hardest is when everyone else around you thinks that you must act 1 certain way just because you are Christian, but I'm sure that I have thought that about other religions, too. I try to be a perfect Christian, but the "perfect Christian" is a subjective idea, so it is hard to explain why you think something that another Christian doesn't think.

My biggest struggle as a Christian is to stay in an intimate relationship with my Lord and Savior....I want to be closer but I let other things take my time that I shouldn't....like yahoo answers for example.

My greatest struggle is being self absorbed. I love and trust God in all things but I tend to be more concerned about myself coming through things than helping other people come through things.

Temptation temptation temptation.

I never doubt Gods existence or the fact that Jesus died for me, so that isnt a struggle that I deal with. But when it comes to temptation thats my biggest problem!

--Dealing with other Christians. I'm one to believe that a Christian's journey is very personable. I REFUSE to think that I have the one and only way to believe. It works great for me, but it doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

--Having to defend myself. I believe in a woman's right to have an abortion. I believe in homosexual rights. I believe in MANY things other Christians don't. However, I don't hide behind the Bible.

--Getting back in touch with Jesus. Our church shunned us after we had a son out of wedlock. Even today they won't ackowledge that our son is ours, even though we are now married. That really turned me off to church, mainly because I couldn't believe "loving" Christians could turn so hateful.
