Faith is a requirement to know God. If we see him we know He is real and no faith is required. But if we know for 100% sure there is a God, How then could mankind ever be tested?
In seeing "Knowing " faith is lost, so it is our life line to God until He returns.

People have faith in lots of things.
Faith in their ability to provide, faith the sun will rise
faith the ground will stay solid, faith they will wake up in the morning.

Faith is really trust, trust is esential for any relationship

God's heart is to restore his relationship with man, that's why Jesus has to die on the cross and rose again on the third day to pay the price once and for all for sin so we could be reconciled back to God the father.

For the relationahip to be restored trust or faith must be restored.

God is the fact - He has disclosed Himself in His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for the sins of the world, and was raised again on the third day by His Father.
Faith is what links you to the fact - when you accept the testimony of God and begin to believe the truth of the message preached, you begin to enter into the benefits God has procured for you through the salvation that comes from Jesus.

Faith as well as love is real only when it is directed towards God or His pure representatives. Otherwise so called faith is self convenience and so called love is lust.

Eleven,

God is something that most people cannot touch or see or otherwise sense. Therefore they have to have faith (blind trust) to believe in his existence.
