The Pilgrims were Christians so can we rule them out?

The devil sticks to his own devices. You cannot make a generalistic statement about any group.

The pilgrims were the ones who introduced satan to the native Americans. Slaves and Indians had their own belief and it was forced from them so violently by the hands of angry pilgrims, the followers of a loving god.

The Native Americans weren't even doing anything wrong except worshipping the wrong gods and goddesses. Yeah, loving... my EAR!
