In most ways I agree with you...but I also think opening a dialogue on racial issues can ONLY make matters better. In a way...doing this on yahoo is ideal because you can be honest. I think asking something that assumes a particular group all feels the same way is VERY silly. But asking something like.....how do you, as a black person, feel about the role of Church as an instrument for social change......is very appropriate and helpful

I think it's because people fear what they don't know.
I say give it a rest too. There are far better things to worry about than this racial hatred.

Its because people don't have an understanding of each other and its a taboo to talk about race in the real world without someone getting upset.
