You know. first there were angels, then they fell as s, but could some of them have stayed nuetral as spirits? Or possibly god simply created spirits seperate of angels/demons?

I'm a Christian and I've been pondering whether masturbation is a sin. Don't bother answering this if you're not one: the typical answer is "It's a natural release, do what feels good to you". This is no way helps me.

So, Christians, or those with a biblical knowledge to answer, is masturbation a sin? Should it be discouraged? The Bible says that lusting after a woman is a sin, but if you do not have that intent, is it still a sin?

selected human breeders as carefully as we select livestock breeders? We wouldn't have to kill anyone. Everyone could live out their natural life...but selective breeding would dictate forced sterilization. What would the world be like if we selectively bred humans for health and intelligence? (Don't say this is a Hitler idea. He killed people in droves to accomplish his goals.)

If God created us all and knows what our lives hold in the future and knows everything then when He created the person/angel that Satan was wouldnt He have known that Satan would become Satan? I have been told that Satan was a fallen angel - a worship leader. But surely God would have known. Also another big question that I have is why did God kill so many people? It doesnt seem like Him -our loving God who says in his commandments not to kill.

Dont worry I am not losing my faith - just two big questions that I have that i guess can cause me to question the Bible etc.

Surely many Christians have had these same questions?

Thanks

If we have an eternal life after death then our mortal life is like one grain of sand amongst all the grains of sand in the world.

If that is the case, why have mortal life at all?

I'm not sure whether to be joyous or angry. Part of me wants to be happy for the parents who are about to recieve a beautiful, pure being to cling to them for most if not all its beautiful young years.

The other half wants to curse them for punishing the child, for putting a new human into this world full of chaos, lies, agony, butchery, and 10,000 religions damning the child to hell for not obtaining their special kind of insanity.

Which image do you conjure up when you hear the news?

(Note: For obvious reasons I did not put this in the pregnancy section)

Nothing doesn't exist!

Nothing cannot exist because that would cancel out existence! If nothing exists then nothing is something ,which contradicts itself! One might say that nothing is inside a vacuum (not the cleaner!), but they are wrong! It is filled with emptiness which is a thing. An empty hand is still filled with air. You can't be doing nothing because no matter what, you are always doing something!

Can you prove me wrong?

This is one subject that infuriates me. If you look into the front of your Bible, many tell you that when you see LORD or GOD in all capitals like that, that is where God's name used to be in the ancient text. In ancient texts, God's name was in the Bible over 7000 times. Some take it out because ancient Israelites had a superstition about pronouncing God's name, Jehovah. Others take it out because they say that we don't know how God's name is really pronounced. First of all, 2 Timothy 3:16 tells us:'All Scripture is inspired of God.' Deuteronomy 4:2 tells us:'You must not add to the word that I am commanding you, neither must you take away from it' So, why are Bible translators taking God's name out of the Bible? If God put it in there, what right do we, as humans have, to take it out? They actually have the audacity to basically tell God, "Well, you put it in there, but we don't think you meant for it to be there.'? And it says not to take God's name up in a WORTHLESS way

i believe there is a couple verses in the scriptures that say God has the ability to kNow the beginning from the end. Which imply that God travels backwards and forwards through time, that he has done it at least 4 times throughout history. He is on the left hand and on the right hand, he goes before us and behind us. ?

Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Is it Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit if you tell a Christian: "Your not from God"? Also, Is it Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit if you say..... "I know that the evil one doesn't want me to question what I believe, considering how dangerous the situation is growing up learning the right things". Please I'm looking for a Christian to answer (I'm a Christian).

for instance, "satan tempted me to do ____"

saying this implies that satan is omnipresent as is god. that satan can be everywhere at once tempting people. even the bible says satan is not omnipresent.

have u guys ever stopped to think that it might just be your natural sinfulness that "made" you do it?

Job 1:7
7 The LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?"
Satan answered the LORD, "From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it."

why would an omnipresent being need to roam back and forth in the earth? why do you make these claims that satan is making u sin when thats clearly not the case.
