Doubts my faith ? Do you mean doubts that I am a Christian because of something I am doing? Well, I wouldn't be offended, but sorry that my witness somehow offended them. I try to life a Christlike example, though I know I am not perfect.

or Do you mean if someone doesn't think I have enough faith? - .
Well, only I and God truly know my heart. I have tons of faith in Him.
Can you clarify your question for me please? TKS ;)

I don't really have a faith to doubt at this point. If people doubt my doubt, would that cancel it out? And since it was canceled out, would an absence of doubt equal faith in that case? Hmmm...

Anway there are appaently people who do get offended when you doubt their faith. The other day I posted questions about Wicca, and when I picked the answer that sounded right to me, but not to Wiccans, I have been sent several emails from people trying to convince me I'm wrong, an acting very hurt and offended when I wouldn't change my mind. Some of them are being quite persistent too! I learned from that some Wiccans are no different from some JWs I personally know who get mad and stopped being friends with me when I wouldn't believe in their faith.

Not at all. I guess that's why I've never understood the religious right's interest in imposing their religion on the nation through legislation. If they follow a specific religion, there is undoubtedly a set of rules that they are supposed to follow in order to remain in God's good graces. As long as they do this, they will be saved and go to heaven. So why do they give a crap if someone in another state or next door to them for that matter does something or lives a lifestyle that precludes them from salvation. It should have absolutely no effect on someone of faith. I don't understand why they doggedly fight against things that have no effect on their own salvation.
When someone does get offended by someone critical of their faith it makes me think that perhaps they have their own doubts.

Faith is what happens when you stand on and stand up for what you believe to be true. Your faith is not affected by what others believe only what you believe. When you have doubts or question what you really believe to be true then your faith dissappears. Faith is the bridge that brings the intangible into the tangible, the spiritual realm into the physical realm.

Our belief is transformed into faith when we make the stand in our mind, in our thoughts and is a result of our choices. What we really believe to be true is evidenced through our choices in life. Since our actions are always followed by our thoughts and choices, our works that follow our choices bear the fruit of what we really believe to be true, regardless of what we say we believe. When we believe the truths of God that are written in the Holy Bible and apply them to our daily life then the source of our fruit is God's Spirit.

I hope this helps you understand the difference between belief and faith. We believe and have faith, not the other way around.

No because I understand that every person has their own beliefs and values, and cant expect them to understand mine all of the time.

I know that whatever or whomever I believe in is right and that I am living life as a good person and that is all that matters, you should invite others to join your faith and share it with them, but dont let it offend you if they cant see eye to eye, its part of being human.

Also do not push it if someone isn't receptive, they will bring it up if or continue the conversation if they are interested.

Nope, because I know my own is true. I don't think my own would fit everyone else, but I don't get offended. I feel sad that some are so misinformed and choose to continue to stay misinformed, but by no means do I want them to believe the same as I do. As you may already know, one such person on here doubts her own faith so much she has resorted to cloning my profile and being very hateful. Then there is another who's cloned her profile and also being hateful. I think both of them need to stop fighting over trying to control how another believes because it just won't happen. You can't dictate to somebody what to think or how to feel. You can force them physically, but where's the satisfaction in that when you know they don't feel it in their hearts?

Not at all! Everyone's free to believe what they want, I have nothing to do with that. Questioning my faith isn't offensive either, I say question away! How else will others learn about what it means to me to be a Muslim?
I just wish more people would do their own homework when it comes to learning about Islam because half the people on this board know nothing more than what some xenophobic dipstick decided to whisper into their ears. The biggest insult to me is being ignorant by choice. Heck it's an insult to humanity if you ask me!

Good luck!

i used to get offended when people play mind games while im trying to be serious. but some people are able to grow up.
If it is truly written that God is not offended in anything except one or 2 things, i can live with anyone and their particular beliefs.
but i tell someone the truth that KNOW from revelation, and they reject it, my obligation is finished, if the reject the truth they reject the reward and the promises that are obtained. At the same time i lose the reward of gaining a freind but I MUST move on press forward.

No as long as they are not rude or offensive about it. Asking questions is the only way to learn. Sometimes showing doubt is part of that process. The best way for a person to prove their faith is to apply it everyday of their lives and not deter from it, no matter what.

Nah..I'm more offended by people who say that I'm stupid because science can't prove my faith or that I'm going to burn in hell because I don't have enough faith. Unless someone is flat out disrespectful and think they have all the answers, I'm not offended by what they believe or don't believe. To each his own.
