This is just for me to see the boards line of thinking. Yes I am a Homosexual Christian, as a matter of fact I am a minister and I am proud to Serve my Lord while being true to who He created me to be!

Hey Nick Boy:

This whole "homosexual" thing is coming from the devil. Not the homosexuality itself, but our (the general Christian) obsession with it.

Think about it. If homosexuality were such a great sin wouldn't it be in the Big 10? But it doesn't make the cut. Lying does. Theft does. Adultery does. Adultery was a killing offence back in the day.

So you tell them straight up. Look to their own sin and leave you alone.

LOVE your God!
(america loves money)

Do not take the Lord's name in vain.
(how many people say meaninglessly say "Oh God" in a day?)

Keep the Lord's Day holy.
(yeah. How many "good Christians" go to church, don't work and avoid the mall on Sunday?)

Honor your parents
(does this mean put them in a home and ignore them?)

Do not lie
(that's like having a cup of joe. We do it all the time without thought...)

Do not steal.
(Does coming in late and leaving early and taking long lunches count? You bet!)

Do not commit adultary.
(HOW many preachers have been busted doing this?)

Do not covet your neighbor's wife.

Do not covet your neighbor's wealth.

Those are the big things. The BIG no nos. Where is being gay?

And one is the NUMBER ONE rule Jesus gives us? LOVE thy neighbor. Love one another as I have loved you. Where does that say condemn? Where does that say back stab? Sorry. He died for my sins. As horrible and dirty as I am. THAT is how we are to treat one another!

God did not create you to be homosexual, that is of your own choice! Don't be fooled to believing you are on your way to heaven when you die. Satan is very smart, and has mislead many into believing the Holy Bible is some how wrong, and can't be trusted. You must have been taken in by this lie. You have read Romans right? Don't think you are living a life pleasing to God, because you are not.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

1co 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulters, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselfs with mankind,

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbeleving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars; shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Are you a real born again Christian? Does the Holy Spirit dwell inside you heart? Is Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior? Don't fool yourself, you can't be a practising homosexual and be a true Christian, NO WAY!!!

The most common quoted scripture is Romans 1, where Paul seems to argue that it was clear from nature that certain actions were inherently wrong, such as (among other things) men lusting after men, or women lusting after women.

The second most commonly quoted passage would be Matthew chapter 19 where the scribes came to question Jesus about the morality of no fault divorce, and Jesus goes off on a tangent and discusses why God created sex in the first place -- what was God's original intent. Jesus implied that any sexual relationship other than between a male and a female who were married violated god's intended use of sex; when Phillip objected, Jesus said that the only moral alternative to marriage was celibacy (literally, become a "enrich").

But as a minister, you know these already, I'm sure.

The Bible makes it clear in numerous places that the "sexually immoral" do not enter the Kingdom of Heaven, and Jesus seemed to define "sexual morality" in a very narrow sense. I will let you figure out for yourself what God would want you to do.

1 Corinthians 6:9
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

Leviticus 18:22
22 " 'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. (From beginning to end it says do not and gives pretty clear and unmistaken interpretation of what it means)

Leviticus 20:13 reiterates this and gives the death penalty.

Judges 19 illustrates a rather twisted story about homosexuality.

Romans 1:26-27
26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion

So, while I do not have an understanding of Greek, Hebrew, or Aramaic I can clearly see the Bible as interpreted for me by SCHOLARS says nothing positive about homosexuality. What it does say is negative and critical.

I will say, as with others, it is no more or less a sin than any listed in the Bible. It should not be harped on more or less than any other. Christians should focus on leading people to a right relationship with God in the same manner as Christ and not the brow beating we now seem to enact.

But, you my friend should not be in any position of leadership in any true Church. I would also say this if you were an alcoholic, drug user, and adulterer, killer or ... Leaders must lead and you cannot convince me you have superior exegesis skills to those that have translated the Bible originally. Nor do I believe God created you to be homosexual. How could he create something that he condemns in his "book?"

Please do not mistake passion for hate or ill intent. Jesus always handled "those in the know" harsher than "those in ignorance." You claim to be a minister and as such fall in to the "know" category.

Feel free to email me your exegesis if you are so obliged. (It better be good as you mispelled the word too!)

Try reading that verse and then go back and start with the first verse and read the entire chapter. If that doesn't make it clear to you no other text will.

The analogy that God made you the way you are is flawed because we are most often a product of our environment. Events that occur during our growing up years cause us to form likes and dislikes, habits good and bad. God doesn't "create ministers" and "devoted missionaries" any more than He "creates serial killers and child molesters". Each of us have issues that tempt us to do things contrary to the teachings of God. The only difference between the good and the evil as that the good chose to listen to God's leading while the evil followed their own pursuits.

Each of us struggle against prinicipalities of darkness. Some of our issues are just more obvious than others. Men who commit adultery get caught, women who lie get caught and are eventually not trusted by those around them. Bank robbers slip up and are found. These things are not wrong because I say so, but because God has said so.

I suggest that instead of saying God made me this way, you ask Him, "God, do you want me to stay this way". If you approach Him on bended knee and truly wait for Him to answer that prayer you will know if God is okay with your lifestyle. Maybe He needs you to be a gay minister to preach the gospel to those who won't go to a more strict church. It could be God needs you right where you are. But each of us would be wise to ask God everyday for guidance. I do that every morning when I am in the right frame of mind. The days I remember to ask for His help are the days that go very well. The days when I get busy and forget to ask for His help are the bad ones...

Homosexuals argue that they did not make a conscious decision to be that way, so it must be natural. They are born that way—just as all of us are born with a sin nature and sinful desires (Ephesians 2:1– ). Tell them that it is natural for them, and for all of us, to be tempted to do things that God says are wrong. In the same way, pedophiles and adulterers (alcoholics, drug addicts, etc.) don’t make a conscious decision to "choose" that self-destructive lifestyle, they simply give in to their sinful desires. However, although sin is natural for unbelievers, that doesn’t mean God wants them to remain that way. God can set them free from their sinful nature (Romans 7:23–8:2), give them new desires (Ephesians 4:22–24), and help them withstand temptations (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Do you mean by "wrong" that it is sin?
First of all, are you saved? If yes, on what basis? By your works, or God's grace? Lets not put the Ox before the cart. if, in fact you are genuinely biblically saved, you might want to read Romans chapter 1. Homosxuality is sin, but lusting in your heart is considered adultery by Jesus Himself. Whether lusting after a man or a woman. Are you able to be legally married as a homosexual where you live? If not, you are an adulterer if in fact you are having sexuall relations with your "partner." Civil disobedience is sin too. the Bible says "obey them that have the rule over you." Since it is impossible for a man to be married to a man, you are in sin. If you are saved, then you are already forgiven, just in an improper relationship with God. your fellowship with Him is strained. Quite frankly, if I knew that you were a practicing homosexual, I would neither attend your church nor remain under your teaching. Sorry. In Genesis it say "male and female created He them. " Its Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.

Then I know full well that you know the scriptures yourself and are trying to trip people up and that is not of God.
It doesn't matter to me what you do but to act like God himself is behind you doing this is wrong.
