In order to prove the young earth, creation scientists need for men and dinosaurs to occupy the earth at the same time. Why? Because when you are working on a short time scale (6,000 years from Adam), it is a lot to have to prove. You can not dispute the existance of the dinosaurs, only when they existed.
So, where is the conflict? Is the earth Old (4.5 billion years) or young (6000) years.
To answer this, lets look at how Creationists date the bible. From Gen 1:1, they start the clock. However, there is an unspecified gap of time that occurs between Gen 1:1 and Gen 1:2. Could it be that Creationists are not compensating for this gap when dating the earth?
I think so. In fact, a gap would have allowed for the existance of previous life events to have been destroyed by flood for their wickedness. Think of it like this: What if Noah had not built the ark. Then, all life would have been destroyed and God would have started over again.
This is what I think has happened throughout the ages. There have been numerous life events that have been destroyed by flood. We, however, are the last ones.
There is no scriptural basis for this theology and there are not many reputable creationists that believe it.
But to answer your question, Dr. Carl Baugh, Creation Evidence Museum believes that Man and Dinosaur coexisted. You can find more information about his works here: http://www.creationevidence.org/
It should be noted that he is criticized by evolutionists as a kook. You will have to decide for yourself.

That tends to be the Young Earth Creationist line. There are Creationists who believe the earth is much older and that dinosaurs were here for a while first.

I currently do not know about creationist; but as a Christian I believe that dinosaurs and man existed at the same time! (See Job 40; behemoth and leviathon were dinosaurs, incidentally unicorns too Job 39:9).

Yes I Do. There is no reference to how long Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden prior to the fall of man--this could have been millenia. That being stated--the creatures aka dinosaurs could have been outside the walls. The book of Job mentions these creatures. Another commonly held notion is that Dinosaurs lived and died prior to the creation of Man. That standpoint is more liberal and takes the 6-creation days to mean more of periods of time rather than six literal days. Hope this helps you understand where we are coming from.

To the answerer above, Behemoth and Leviathan scripturally refers to Hippopotamus and Crocodile respectively.
Anyway, If you take the creation days literally as our 24-hour days, it would be impossible for the dinosaur fossils to have aged millions of years...the fact is a creation day is not that...but many years perhaps thousands or millions...as we may refer to, the days of my father...which could mean his generation.
Also, the earth has long existed before God created man, and in the many years he was also creating plants and animal life and they are not made to love eternally unlike man, reason why dinosaur fossils age billions...

Yep. Pretty sad isn't it, considering all the evidence we have that dinosaurs died about 60 million years before anyting closely resembling humans at all was on the planet. but hey, when you're being attacked from all sides, your religion is leaking followers like a bad pipe, you've gotta do something, and it's back to a creationist favorite: BS people.

No (in a way). The earth is billions of years old while man is only 6000 years old--- God created plants and animals long before man and so the dinosaurs may have died long before man was created...as they were not created to live eternally.
But animals are not as savage before as they are now, thats why its called paradise...no pain, no suffering, no prey...

Death didn't happen till after the fall of Adam. Creatures still lived long lives and grew big, but then big creatures die, and I believe that is why there are meat eater dinosaurs, to eat the dead animals.

I do-my theory-- since God created man(kind) in his image, man(kind) was pretty intellegent. Man "created" dinosuars by gene splicing. God destroyed all animals that He didn't create in the flood. And since there were only eight people that got on the boat the knowledge of how to do a lot of things desappeared too. Then people started living in caves because well there were only eight people to start out with and building houses would take time.

You already know the answer is yes. They also believe the world is about 6000 or so years old. Some claim it's as old as 7500 years. Babylonians were brewing beer about 7500 years ago.
