All I hear on the news is religion-related topics? Are people getting tired of hearing about it or getting turned ooff hearing about it so much?

why do you believe in your religion? or why don't you believe in religion? do you believe in it as a whole? or do you believe in only SOME things? etc..etc...

before you start assuming the intention of the question, please take into consideration that this is not a question to instigate any type of argument with anyone. i just think it's interesting to learn the thoughts and opinions of people on such sensitive topics.

Among certain people it's generally agreed that God's morality is "ideal". What if I don't agree? What if I'd rather follow another system of morality?

Say I choose to adhere to a system of morality other than that which is considered "God's morality". Is this acceptable? Why or why not?

P.S. When I say "God", I refer to Yahweh from the Bible.

If your God is a loving and caring God, if your God seeks above all else for humans to be kind, caring, thoughtful toward each other, if your God is interested in each person on earth leading a good and morale life ...

Then wouldn't judgement be based on what kind of life is led, rather than what beliefs are held?

I had an ear probem yester day.Now I have neurological problems(epilepsy/seizures),but this didnt seem to be a seizure;the problem was I was hearing a radio like pulsing sound in my right ear,and later in the evening or night my dad(a certified minister) laid hands on me and prayed for me;I had been praying to,but after my dad prayed for me and I later started to go to bed,i prayed one more time myself,then went to sleep(with the unknown sound in my still in my ear.I had prayed that when I woke up that there sound would be comepletly gone.We'll when I woke up my dad ask me if I still heard the noise,and I said no cuase I didnt hear it anymore.And my dad before walking out said "Amen"
Chances are if we hadnt prayed about it,I would still be hearing the sound in my ear.So God does anser and prayer does work.

Now who wants to try and come up with a million other reasons why it was just coicidence and random, and not God?

So one day very shortly after i asked in prayer i saw these little golden globes flying around me, the sound that came from them hurt with every throbbing beat as they came closer. when i looked inside of them they seemed to have little sized spirits inside. I also noticed the little flying golden globes were the size of base balls.

Here's just 3 examples...

In Matthew 27:46 we're told Jesus' last words are "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" but in Luke 23:46 they've changed to "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit" and in John 19:30 they've changed again to "It is finished"

Did he die three times or were there triplets?

Was Joseph adopted because in Matthew 1:16 his father is Jacob but by Luke 3:23 it's changed to Heli?

And in Genesis 7:2 God instructs Noah to take 7 of all the clean beasts onto the ark but moments later in Genesis 7:8 he's loading his ark with just 2. Did Noah have a memory problem, was he drunk or something?

What's you opinion? Even better, can you explain the discrepancies?
