Maybe not. He said "Thou shall not kill" yet he killed off a whole planet except those on the ark.

The apostle Paul stated that “it is impossible for God to lie,” and that God “cannot lie.” (Hebrews 6:18; Titus 1:2) Truthfulness is an important part of God’s personality.
But man, driven by his greed of power and authority will!
So they tell you that God will burn people in hell...but God is a loving God, he will not act wickedly (Job 34:10)
Man will twist the scriptures and say they will go to heaven..but the bible was clear: “The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”—Ps. 37:11; Matt. 25:33, 34, 46. The covenant for heaven is not for all but for the 'few chosen.' Adam and Eve were created to live eternally on a paradise earth and not in heaven...God's purpose remain the same...

According to the Bible, God does lie. The New Test states that God "sends a great delusion so that they would believe a lie". In the Old Test, it says he sent lying spirits to certain prophets. A lot of people claim God can't lie, that he can not go against his own Word, but as another here has pointed out, it says thou shalt not kill, yet he flooded the entire world, killing off innocent babies along with everyone else in the world. Adding another reason to not take the Bible literally.

Hello 0900,
Yes! God has power over all things- But, he is not a God that will lie, Hebrews 6:18 tells us that it is impossible for God to Lie. The word says God cannot, could not, and would not lie. I just have faith in what he tells us in his word...
I always tell people to never take anyone word for it, when in doubt read the word of God, that way you know whats in it and know one can lead you wrong.

God does not lie, nor does he Tempt people, in Him is no darkness at all.
so the scriptures say. so we should believe.
however, there are some things he doesnt reveal and there are some prayers he wont answer until a person is worthy or able to receive the answer. Be not deceived the enemy of righteousness will always try to deceive by bearing false witness, for the devil is a liar from the beginning.

Yes as He is TRUTH. He couldn't lie about heaven, hell or anything else for that matter, nor would He want to because that wouldn't be truth.

this is a mistake that a hell of a people do: put the church or let`s say ,religion, and God in the same pottery.
Do you really care of heaven or hell?if you did u weren`t asking this question..Let the people believe.Faith gives strength

How can God do anything that's not Himself. If He was everything before anything was, then He must be the only reality or truth.
God is too good to lie. Satan is the father of lies.
