People are running to become Christians. The more that accept Christ, the closer we come to seeing Him.

The news that uses religious topics are usually the bad types, like ABC or NBC. They show the negative side of things, because they get more viewers and therefore more money.
If you watch something like the BBC or CNN, you will rarely find a religious piece of news. More sophisticated, smarter people watch these two channels because the trend is: The smarter you are, the less you believe in a god (this trend has been proven).
Since less-intelligent people watch ABC, they show less-intelligent topics (topics related to God).

It depends on how involved you get with others. As an introvert, I have very little exposure to religion in my community. It is not up in billboards along the roads or in the stores I shop in. The public at large is secular.
But on the very rare occasions that I become personally involved, more than nine out of ten of my fellow citizens turn out to be involved in Christianity. That's part of the reason I mostly keep to myself - being secular, I don't relate well with others.
As far as the media goes, it is mainly the stories about Muslim violence in the M.E. and I feel very detached from those events.

I don't understand your question... but if thats the news, then thats the news... Its important to keep up with whats going on in the world, so no, i'm not getting sick of it...
ps... what news are YOU watching? The press is soooo liberal that they usually shy away from the real religous topics...
At least around here... and everywhere I've ever been...

No, I think it is fantastic.. I am a recently new to the Christian lifestyle and it is way better than the old ways. I'm glad the word is spreading to everyone, even through the news! I hope this continues and grows until, finally, everyone is a true Christian. It sounds impossible, but just think, the 10 commandments. Are they really that hard to follow? And to learn and accept someone in your heart to be your savior?
Thanks, I hope this helps!

The reason is because the religious right changed course and decided a few years ago that they wanted to get involved in politics.

No. I think it needs to happen. Its the only way that religion is going to be pushed back as more people become aware of the terrible things the religious are doing.

I'm getting sick of people who diss against religion, saying it's some sort of stupidity. Well guess what, everyone isn't the same, so we beleive differently, therefore that makes them ignorant.
Other than that, I'm fine with it. Unless they don't brainwash people too...
