Funny. I liked it. But the final scenes left me cold, as it seemed to throw all of Christianity out with the proverbial bathwater because of some bad seed dimwit Christian teenagers.

I'm generally against saying something is either completely good or bad - too often as christians we have a simplistic view of people and assume that some people say nothing wrong and some say nothing of value.

However this is an exception. It was total propaganda.

Having worked with a lot of people in similar situations to the ones of the main characters, they really idealised their lives and demonised evangelical christianity.

Perhaps I'm being too harsh - it might have something helpful to say in some contexts where truth and truth about God is held up in contrast to loving actions. However, I don't think they have to be in contrast - if anything believing the truth about God's nature and the things he has made us for should make us more gracious not less.

The film seemed to be about emotionally working up the viewer to "convert" to liberal Christianity (with the Jesus figure as the pregnant girl's boyfriend)

On the whole it's really not a good thing

And this is from someone who believes in grace so strongly she's put it as her pseudonym.

LOL!! Friend Citrus Punch the MOST funny Catholics are Franciscans, like ME!

I loved Saved. It was super funny. Parts of it were very sad too. Because there are actually people who get that silly. But in all, it was really cute.

I'm not of any denomination but I can tell who is sincere, like the link of this little girl who painted her glimpses of heaven.
