Matthew affirms that heaven was "prepared for you from the foundation of the world" ( 25:34 ). But here in John 14:2 Jesus said , " I go to prepare a place for you," implying that it was not yet prepared at that time.

Tell me your thoughts. : )

The reason i ask this is because all thru history muslims are afraid to draw the prophet. This is absurd. He was a man, he died and he was buried. You cannot make him out to be some kind of martyr simply because he taught a faith. So why is it ? Forget about what he said about its a rule from allah. I think the reason under my legal opinion is because the prophet may have had feminine feelings and mayve tried to keep it from the public docket. Maybe he went all the way and had a sex change and decided it was great. Its probably a fact that his followers caught onto his effeminate ways and decided to exile his image and declared a law to never have him drawn or any other form of man therafter to. Can anyone in the muslim world disprove this ? Their are no portraits of him therefore my theory stands as the truth until it can be disproven. INSHALLAH !

How can so many people, hell how can anyone in this day and age not believe in God? How can so many people believe that we came from monkeys/apes? If that's true then why are there still monkeys? I would rather believe in God, accept Christ as my savior and try to live right and find out when I die it was all in vain, rather than not believe, live recklessly and when I die find out that Jesus is Real. I wish I could explain/prove God/Jesus/The Holy Spirit to all non believers but I can't. All I can do is witness that He is real. I can't explain electricity. I know if I turn on a light switch, the electricity travels until it reaches the bulb and the light turns on. Still, I've never seen electricity, but I always see the evidence of it's existence. I've never seen God in person, but when I see the planets, the trees, water, animals, humans, etc. I see the evidence of His exsistence. Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. I once was lost but now I'm found, Glory.

I mean is it enough to believe that God exists. For instance, I have a friend who was religious. Then his older sister was murdered - he was 13 at the time, and she was 16. Then when people talked about God he got really upset. He said hated God. I don't know enough about the Bible, so I'm asking. Were he to die, what would happen? Is it enough that he believes in God (obviously he does or he wouldn't hate God, you can't hate something you don't believe exists)? Must you always like God, or can you be angry?

I mean this as a serious question for people who have a thorough understanding of the Bible.

Thanks

I highly recommend you read all of my previous 3 questions if you are an atheist so you don't make yourself look bad with a dumb answer.

Continuing on my information from last time:
The atmosphere maintains earth at a livable climate, and leaves the cold from space out.
Gravity is strong enough to hold our atmosphere in, but not strong enough to not let living organisms move.
Water evaporates, freezes and is liquid in the varying temperatures of earth.
Water is necessary for all living things to get nutrients.
Unlike other planets water is in abundance here on earth.
Water has an incredible process, as when it gets cold it sinks to the bottom, but when it freezes it floats back up.
The cap of ice avoids water under it freezing an allows fish to survive.
If water did not go up after freezing, eventually the earth would be a freezing planet that would not be suitable for life.

Earth is well-built, did it all happen randomly?

More questions later.

Rom 5:14

Death became to all people because of the sin of Adam ( Rom 5:12 ), but Romas 5:14 says " Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam." But, if they did not sin like Adam, why are they held accountble?

Tell me your thoughts.

Are they genetically messed up due to things like inbreeding and lead poisoning, or is it simply the fault of poverty, poor education and stupid parents? Have autopsies yielded any conclusive evidence regarding underdeveloped brains, misaligned cranial structure -- things of that nature? This seems to be a grossly neglected, or at least highly underreported, topic of research.

Atheists- How are moral structures determined? Most theists and rationalists would say that reason (from mind/soul/God) is the foundation for reason. But as empiricists, you are obviously non-rationalist. So what is the foundation of ethics? Feelings? How can you prove that feelings are good or bad without a wall to measure them against?

Okay, so it predicted that Christ was coming, and leads up to the arrival of the Messiah, but it was orginally the Jewish scripture, no? And didn't Jesus come to say that the Jewish religion was over, or old news, and that those teachings were only there because they needed strict rules? And didn't Jesus say that the only way to God was through him? And weren't the only two rules Jesus had to tell people were to love God with all your heart, mind and strength, and to love your neighbour as you love yourself? So why do so many Christians use quotations from the OT to justify actions that Jesus' two rules wouldn't allow? Such as death penatly, anti homosexuality, etc? Aren't they all completely missing the point?

It is agreed by scholars that Paul's contrast between the "one" and that "many" here, that "many" means all. For the "many" were "made sinners" by the "one" (Adam's ) sin, and Paul had already concluded that the "all have sinned ( Adam )" a few verses earlier ( Rom 5:12 ). But if all were "made sinners" means actually became sinners, then why does not all "will be made righteous" in the same verse mean that all will be saved?( Rom 15:9 )

In my last question, I asked atheists how they prove their own existence. Several said something along the lines of 'You can see me, end of story.' or 'Because I'm right here, duh'

My question is this. How can an atheist prove that their senses aren't misleading them? Please, no more logical fallacies.

This should be quite educational, thanks in advance.
