Yes. Nice, personable, accepting and easy to get along with. I agree.

I have attended their services, almost all of them are very friendly. There did seem to be a few that seemed almost competitive amongst their fellow believers but that is pretty normal in any environment. At the end of each Sunday all of the men are assigned to one room where they discuss various means of promoting their religion, understanding their religion, and volunteer work for both Mormons and non-Mormons. They would emphasis on trying to be nice to people.
It is actually part of their beliefs to be as good of a person as they can be. So yes, they are amongst the nicest people I have met.

Now come on....there are good and bad in every denomination..and, although I have met some very nice mormons, they are only nice and give you the time of day whilst they think they are able to convince you of their truth..but when they consostently use the book of mormon and want to push that instead of the bible first..they will always meet with people who disagree...Once someone disagrees with them.then that is when you see their true colours. Sorry..but mormons are no better than anyone else..no nicer than people found in other denominations.

I'm mormon and sometimes it seems as if most people in my church are just an act. It's really frustrating. I would say no. It depends on the person, not the church. I think the church tries to teach good morals and most people are not actually as nice and humble as the church would like so they feel like they have to measure up to all the other people who fake it too. I just don't care anymore though. I'll be who I want to be, whether it's nice or not. There are truly some good people I know in the church though.
BRIDGET... what you say is true. I won't deny the part about becoming gods at all. However, I would second-guess the part about our own planet. I think my seminary teacher explained this once to me bu it seems kind of odd anyhow. This is one of the the teachings I have trouble with.

Actually, I find them quite pleasant. But I wouldn't generalize to the extent they are the nicest.

No, not at all. Some of them in fact are the most self-satisfied, arrogant and oblivious people I've ever met.

No. The only Mormon I met was my now ex-girlfriend and I don't have fond memories of her.
I'd actually say Catholics are pretty nice.

Unfortunetly no, they are usually the most stuck up, and refuse to take no for an answer. To me, that is rude.
My ex-roommate was an ex-Mormon, and she was very nice. LOL.
