Rom 5:14
Death became to all people because of the sin of Adam ( Rom 5:12 ), but Romas 5:14 says " Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam." But, if they did not sin like Adam, why are they held accountble?
Tell me your thoughts.

Just because people do not sin in the likeness of Adam does not mean that they are not sinful. Man dies because man sins ( Rom 6:23 ). God is just in condemning, and He is merciful in providing salvation for ALL those who will ask it and receive it. We need to accpet the One who can save us.

I accept everything that THE GOD does as fair.
I really do feel that HIS doings are right and proper.
I do not judge THE GOD!

I think what Paul is saying here is that through Adam, death and sin entered the world.
Adam's sin was to disobey God's instruction and eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. So, we didn't commit the same sin as Adam, but because of his sin we are all accountable for our sins aren't we? - because we now have the knowledge of right and wrong.
As you probably know, if you read the rest of chapter 5, he goes on to explain that Jesus lovingly paid the price and provided the way to rectify this situation - something that we are incapable of doing ourselves.
Hope this helps, God bless.

Suppose your great-great grandfather was violent towards your great-great grandmother (for example), its like blaming you for it.
It really does not make sense.
In any situation the only people who could possibly be blamed are those who could influence the event.
I am not questioning your obviously strong beliefs, if you wish to believe in God etc then thats fine, as long as no-one else gets hurt, I would be very careful about taking the Bible too literally, it may not actually be the words of God.
Ever played Chinease Whispers, over time things become distorted, the book you hold in your hand could not be what God actually said to Moses once the transcript has passed a few different era's, various translations and the monarchs of their time have ammended sections to suit themselves.
If there is a God, I'm sure he would rather you spent your time as a plesant citizen, not doing harm to anyone than obsessing over the Bible.

Adam's disobedience allowed sin to enter the world. Adam and Eve were told that now, they would have to die. So, therefore, their seed would too.
When they were in the Garden of Eden, they were in fellowship with God. When they disobeyed, they broke the fellowship and it ended for all.
Neither Moses, or anyone else, ever caused everyone to be separated from God like Adam did.
When Jesus became our sacrifice, the fellowship is restored for those who choose Jesus.

We are born with a sinful nature, inherited from the fall of Adam and Eve. Have you ever heard of anyone training a child to lie or covet? That is part of the sinful nature and the basis for our need to be born of the Spirit

It doesnt say they didnt sin...it says they didnt sin like Adam.
We are all guilty of sin. They were all guilty of sin.
God provides a method of escape from this guilt.
Its also important to remember that God cares about justice...not about whats fair.

They are not speaking of physical death but spiritual death. That was the consiquence for them not following the command of God to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good & evil. That all man will not know God, for they are not worthy.
That is kind of like when "1 person ruins it for the rest of us"! It is a sad truth but the truth non-the-less!

We are held accountable for our own sins, but Paul is just talking about how sin came through one person and is redeemed through one person that is Christ. Because of Adam, we all have a corrupted nature, but because of Christ we can be sanctified.

answer this:
is if fair that you punish/judge your child because you left him near the pool and almost drowned, but you just watched him kill himself and 2000 years later, you get the idea to sacrifice another child so that sinner son's sin could be forgiven?
