That's rather a nice analogy.....very scifi/Twilight Zone.
Picture it. Sicily, 194.... Oh wait, that's the Golden Girls.
Picture it. Two people, shrunken down to about 2" tall. A playful kitten. Imagine the hijinks that would ensue as they tried to live relatively peaceful lives while dodging Frisky.

To some people I'd have to say He is a kitten, bending to their whims as they pick Him up or put Him down, scratching at the door & hoping for someone to let him in.
If God, hopes, wants, wishes for the world to come to him, are we not in effect dangling yarn in front of this kitten? Maybe you're not so far off in your analogy.

Hahah! Metaphorically speaking yes.
I think that the answer made by "white dove" was really stupid, doesn't he know that god does not smite people, he is a forgiving being.

If I was dog would I want God to throw the ball and chase it. Throw it again to chase it. Throw it again to chase it. I love to play that game with God.
