I know that the host you receieve at a catholic mass is jesus's "body" but what is it made out of? A rice paper material or what? Does it have a nutritional guide telling us how much salt and whatever is in it? Hope no one is offended, Im just curious!

No matter what, like if you really believed in Jesus and/or God, and solemnly asked for forgiveness, he'd be all: "You had your chance" So really that's it, you're just in hell forever. What if you forget to ask forgiveness for one sin, do you have to spend an eternity in hell? I really don't get it, and is it really an eternity, or until the revelations?

out there smoke pot? What would your church do if they found out?
If they found out would that be grounds to burn the demons out of you on the stake or stone you (though you probably would already be stoned).
No really, what does your religion say about using drugs like pot or alcohol?

And if so, how can you have it removed? All the women in my family seem to have had bad/failed relationships with men (my generation, my mother's, grandmother's, and great grandmother). I am wondering if someone had put a curse on my family.

In the Bible, Adam was created, then he named the animals before Eve was created, after which the 6th day of creation ended. I read in a "Watchtower" magazine that each 'day' of creation was 1,000 years long and Bible chronology showed the end of 6,000 years of man's existence would be October 1975. Armageddon was expected by then, at the latest! In 1968 the 1 May "Watchtower" said Eve was created within the same year as Adam. But the 1 May 1975 "Watchtower" said this time-gap was unknown. Seeing as it's now 31 years from 1975, can any Jehovah's Witnesses clarify whether they still believe this time-gap holds good - meaning Adam must have been busy naming the animals for 31 years (to date)?

This is NOT a question post-1975 converts to the JWs can possibly answer, by the way. I've already spoken to some of them and they insist they never believed Armageddon would come in 1975 but I have their leaders statements to hand so if you are a JW, please state whether pre or post 1975. Thanks

Most people today receive the writings arranged and bound together in their Bibles as Holy Scripture simply because that is what they find bound together under that title in a book they have purchased at the bookstore. Many Protestants are also aware of the fact that in choosing a Bible one must avoid the shelf labelled "Roman Catholic Bibles," because these are designed to promote Catholic beliefs and they also contain some books that we do not even receive as Scripture — the ones we refer to as belonging to the "Apocrypha." But why do we reject these books? Very few of us have even read them.. And so it is evident that most of us receive certain books and reject others not because we have personally evaluated them in any way, but because we trust that someone else has evaluated them and decided rightly concerning this matter? Is there a book out there with ALL of the books of the bible?

I am Christian, and I study the bible all the time. Yet I talk to alot of Christians that Deny that Jesus is God! I am so confused about this, they say that he is the Son of God, that is it! I get so Confused how they can Deny Jesus as God, and yet claim to have Salvation.

Did Jesus himself say that the Only way to Salvation was through him???? Did it not say that he Came in the FLESH? Someone help me please, I just dont get it. And if you Deny Jesus as Lord of Lords, and Kings of Kings, then how do you have Salvation? YOU DONT!

What a fricking religious nightmare we live in today! Wheres God in all this, I mean, he certainly has the power to clear it all up...right?

He could come down right now and destroy all the differing religious scripture and either leave us with none, or unify it all.

Muslim man "He did, he gave us prophet Muhammad and the Quran!"

Guess what Einstein, Allah could remove all doubt and just do it himself! No ugly human go-between, nooooo....he could literally make all differing scripture vanish! Right?

"Oh no, he prefers to send us an illiterate slave owning warlord to clear up the matter. Hes testing to see whether we will fight to establish his righteousness"

Why would Allah want to test our willingness to follow other humans who claim to be religious? After all, most Muslims do just that, they simply conform to the religious order and dont study their religion in great depth. What kinda stupid test is this?

Maybe there is no God....

Shellfish (Clams, Mussels) provide Vitamin B12 to support nerve and brain function, plus iron and hard-to-get minerals like magnesium and potassium. Three ounces has 126 to 146 calories, 2 to 4 grams of fat and 0 fiber.

The Old Testaments said they were an abomination but only because they didn't know how to sanitize it. So what is the definition of abomination? It seems to have multiple meanings.

Hope I am able to word myself with excellence.
Will do my best.

Am beginning to understand enlightenment, and Nirvana.

I understand that after Siddhartha Gautama
reached enlightenment, thus sharing with people the 4 Noble Truths, and the Eightfold Path, as well as MUCH other Wise teachings, altriusm, etc. etc.), The Buddha, did not die
physically until at least another 40+ years (Providing Mankind with his 45 years of teachings from his [I suppose I'll call it]
Ministry.

Question: "When Siddhartha Gautama{the First
Buddha / The Buddha) experienced Pari-Nirvana
at the time of his physical death, ending the cycle of rebirths { "that is 'IF' he was ever reborn - if he needed such, as we all do]
'what happened at the point of his death, upon his Pari-Nirvana ?' Did he evolve into an even higher level of consciousness, & into another higher being which has reached Absolute PEACE, and Perfection, etc. ? Or did he die Peacefully, as dust, ceasing to Exist ?

The bible uses favor and grace sononamously in the KJV and NIV. So can anyone help me. I am trying to do a personal study on what it means to have the favor of the Lord. I got a few that say you will have favor but nothing that states what it is. I understand we have it because of Christ. Because what He did we get fringe benefits in our salvation package. Any comments or thoughts please let me know.
