i found this proccess really boring...

You could attain enlightenment in this life... many lamas have despite serious setbacks in their earliest lives, for example, Milarepa (1040-1143 CE) engaged in black magic to kill a number of people who'd cheated his family, realized he'd done something karmically horrifying (hell realms rebirth for sure) so he appealed to a lama named Marpa (1012-1097 CE) and wanted to become his student... Marpa put Milarepa through all KINDS of harsh tasks, then when he saw that Milarepa was seriously devoted and wanted to learn, Marpa taught him and Milarepa became enlightened and wound up with students of his own... so it can be done in one lifetime but it takes huge amounts of discipline, devotion, willingness to learn altruism and wisdom and follow the Dharma.
One thing's for certain, if you did... life would look a WHOLE LOT LESS "boring".

There is no chance for any of us to live a perfect life to get into heaven , and negate us having to be born again. Give up trying , it is not going to work- Humble yourself before God, admit you are a sinner, accept Christ as the payment for sin, repent and turn to God- and that process will end, and you can start to live the life that God has called you too.

You will NEVER achieve perfection! Only Jesus was ever perfect . So you must be born again in this life, it;s the only one you get.

"Perfection" in the reincarnative sense is about obtaining wisdom. You can't attain wisdom without experiences.
