Green eyes...I don't think that most Christians disagree with you. Not sure which ones have told you that Jesus is not God unless you are referring to the great trinity debate which will never be resolved, here or in the world.
You are correct, Jesus is the way. MG

Some people call themselves "christians" because they go to church. (Going to church doesn't make you a christian any more than standing in a garage makes you a car.) Others have never studied it out for themselves and are "recreational christians" ; they aren't mature in Christ. They may have accepted Him as their Savior, but that's all.
Yes! Jesus is God! Yes! He is the only way to God the Father, and to Heaven.
It saddens me too, when I see people who say they're christians who don't believe what the Bible plainly says. Jesus himself said, "Before Abraham was, I AM". That statement caused the Jews to try to stone Him because they knew what He was saying with that statement. They knew He was saying that He was God!
Yes, Jesus came in the flesh. He was born of a virgin. He was fully man and yet, fully God. He really did die. Blood and water don't separate in your body until you're dead. When the centurian thrust the spear into Jesus' heart, blood and water came out. He was dead. Then He rose! He came back completely to life. He ate food, He walked with them on the road to Emmaus. Now He's preparing a place for us in Heaven.
As to if someone denies Jesus as Lord of Lords and King of Kings, See Matthew chapter 25.
Keep studying, and you will have rewards in Heaven.

Usually people get confused as Jesus is the Son of God and then think the since Jesus is God's Son that he is lesser God than the Father...and since Christians are viewed as sons of God then we of course are not God either......but what needs to be explained is that the term Son is 2 different words in the original Greek...Jesus is the Son or the huios of God which means he bears the same essence of the father...whereas Christians are sons (tekknon) of God which means son by adoption.....i am the huios of my earthly father cause in his essence he's flesh and blood and in my essence I am flesh and blood...Jesus bore the same essence of his Father whereas his Father is God so he is God...we don't bear the same essence of God...so we are not God...Jesus does...so he is God....
Finally we read
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

First off when it comes to being sure about ancient texts, do you speak and write in Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, Latin and the languages that early texts were translated into like German as well as knowing what the life and customs of all of these people were? Also its pretty bold to make a statement that is so heavy handed, lighten up and realize others have a good point too. When I went to college they forced us to argue the opposite point of view on some very touchy subjects to see that both sides have good points. Get a book on how many misquotes there are in the bible and you will soon feel humbled.

I don't know how they can say that and be Christians either. Father(God), Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit are one. You can't be saved and deny that Jesus is Lord of Lords,...
Don't let them make you question what you believe. Good luck

The path to salvation is narrow, the path to damnation is great. A lot of people think that they are saved, when actually they are not. Jesus is god, if you think otherwise, then you are not saved. A lot of people call Christians hypocrates because of these people that aren't true Christians. A true Christian believes that Jesus is God, he is god and god is he. That is what the bible say's. He also prayed to the father so the father also exists. And, the holy spirit is in us and is god, they are all god, and god is one.

Because they follow their own minds and their own way of interpreting the bible, not the way God intended.
If Jesus would not be true God and true man no one could claim salvation, because only God can save us.
Jesus was killed because He claimed He is God Almighty, the hihg priests shrieked : Blasphemy.
He forgave sins, the paralysed man, no one can forgive sins except God.
There's plenty of proof in the gospels of Jesus' divinity.
Maybe some have watched nonsense like the Davinci code and listened to sectarians like the JWs.

I think you're just confused on the way Christians have said that to you. Jesus IS the Son of God, but he is divine. God and Jesus are two separate beings, but both are divine and holy... does that make sense? That's probably what they believe, and why they try to keep them separate at the same time...

Jesus is the son of God, not God Himself. They are two separate entities. God is in Jesus, just as my son is part of me, but that doesn't make them 1 being. Yes, to get to the Father, we have to go thru the Son, but that doesn't make them the same entity any more than you and your father are the same person. Different, yet connected.
Jesus is the king, the Lord of Lords, our salvation, but our king also has a father, which is God Almighty. There is none higher, He is our creator. I sometimes think christians are committing blasphemy by putting them on the same level. One is the father, the other the son. Jesus prayed to God, told us to pray to God, not to Him, which should give people a hint.

If you look at the most basic idea here....Christians are called "Christ"-ians because they are followers of Christ. Since Jesus said that He and the Father are one and that He is the only way to salvation, if they aren't believing that, they aren't following Him. And I would give them the dignity of calling them Christians. If they deny the deity of Christ, then they are as lost as someone who has never heard.
