I believe in Christianity because I have seen the differance it has made in my life. I lived/worked/traveled with a Christian Drama company for 8 1/2 years. Living on the road with a shoestring budget made my faith grow and I really learned about trusting in the Lord. I've seen what God has done in my life and I've seen many others that have been impacted by the Lord in their lives in all of the different places I've been. I've also been on 3 mission trips and have seen God's hand in where I've been. In Nigeria I saw a man prayed to literacy....I know you say that is impossible, but I saw it....a church I was in prayed for a man that couldn't read and handed him a Bible and he started reading it. I don't want to limit God or put Him in a box. I belive in Him and all He can and will do.

I have beliefs as everyone does, but I do not hold my beliefs with such absolute certainty as some of the religious do. I do not believe in religion for a multitude of reasons, such as how unlikely a God could exist as explained by religion, or how magical events that only occurred in the past are all over the Bible, yet we have yet to see one in modern times. I do not follow religion by simply observing those that do. The list goes on and on.

I am not a participant in organized religion because I like my spirituality to go anywhere I want it to; I dont like restrictions and without being in a religion my beliefs can change. Plus there is so much for me to explore outside of religion

I'm not a believer in "science" because I know there is so much more than that and honestly right now science can't keep up with my spirituality, it's lagging behind

Catholicism - Because after studying many religions, including wicca, atheism, judaism, taosim, buddhism, and many different branches of Christianity, I have found Catholicism to be the only logical answer. If something doesn't seem logical to me then I don't listen, Catholicism is logical to me.

I was raised in a liberal not very religious household for reference. I didn't have a specific religion I needed to follow. This surprises people.

i think it's because our parents showed us to. when you were kids we were gullible and the persons we trusted the most is our parents, and we believed in what they believed in. we did not have much reasoning power at that time.

As time goes, our thinking abilities grows and we start questioning our believes, but only within our selves, mostly because we dont want other people to know that i am having question about what we all believe in as a whole. we fear we might be out casted. We try our best to go along to get along.

Then as we become more grown up we figure that how much of life is dependent on luck, out of our control. then we again start recoursing to almighty authority that was long grained in our minds. Every good thing that happens to us we credit it to that authority, every bad things taht happens to us we say it happens to the best of us.As more time goes you true believers as we start realizing that with time, we are reaching closer to our death, the ultimate mystery of every child mind.

Only if you have spiritual experience can you truly know what is right or wrong otherwise stick to science. I am personally a christian and the reason is I have a spiritual connection with god. I don't do the "signs" thing. I do talk to god and he has talked back sometimes. In my opion science is almost completely wrong. They minuscule have evidence if any. All the "evidence" they have is theories.

I believe in a God that is basically all souls. I've studied many religions and spiritual systems, and communed with nature, and had my own mystical experiences. This is how I interperate them. When we die, I believe we join with the other souls, and there is timeless wisdom. We can tap into that now, but it is difficult as we are limited by our bodies. I think since we are in our bodies we should enjoy them.

I don't care if people think I'm crazy. I agree with Atheists and religious people on a lot of points. They can think I'm going to hell, or deluded or whatever. It's just my interpretation, and I draw a lot of wisdom and unity from it.

After years of analytical study of many religions, their history, dogmatic structures, theism, atheism, etc. I settled upon Buddhism. To me it works because it's the most logical thing I've found that actually makes sense to me. I'm 100% on board with the Dharma via Tibetan Gelug Buddhist teachings.
