during my life I've felt that people I've come across were 'sent' for a purpose...and I remember them to this day, even though I only met them momentarily (in a plane and cafe). Also a fox saved my life once (or saved me from injury certainly) by running back and forth in the country road in front of my moped so I had to slow down, when I'd almost stopped it ran away and the tyre blew! It was strange behaviour for a fox. I suppose many things happen to us which we just forget about and maybe 'heaven sent'!?

inspired by another question here, it seems no one is even taught evolution in High School (U.S.A.)...which really explains the national ignorance.

I see people talking about big Macs and hairstyles, but does anyone really care what life is like in Bethlehem? Did you ever think about asking that question of someone who lives there...??

Disclaimer: I am asking about your understanding of a theory- not whether you believe it's true or not, or whether its a "moot point"...

Can you explain the theory of evolution as you were taught in school (regardless of the fact that you do not believe in it, but can you give a description of how it is said to work)?

Also- cut and paste answers and quotes from scripture will be disregarded when deciding who gets the 10.

People believe in the truth of religious doctrines that are neither founded upon nor defended by logic, reason, evidence, or science, yet these people obviously use logic etc. in going about other issues. Isnt faith an unreliable guide?

He is not the only person who has died before. I’m not trying to minimize his death or his sacrifice, I wouldn't wish a crucifixion on my worst enemy, be there has been other deaths besides his, and I'm sure much more worst.
