It goes on a permanent record in your profile, you know.

I mean, sure, I might like a question now, but who knows if I'll want to be associated with it a few months from now. I used to Thumbs Up questions all the time, but I'm kind of reticent to Star much of anything so far. Am I the only one??

(It's not working too well, anyway. I just saw a blatant "Would ou like to know Jesus?" spam thread with half a dozen stars.)

If a Jew eats a corn chip, which is a shehakol brakha because the corn form is mangle dbeyond recognition so it looses its adamah, but he didn't have in mind the french onion dip, which is also a shehakol - b'di eved he can relly on his friend making a brakha on a cand or something else that's shehakol with the onion dip in mind and answering amen. Now, what if his friend has to make a brakha over a soda, can he rely on the brakha on a soda, which is liquid, to cover a toful semi-solid like a french onion dip or does he have to remain in suffik?

My wife and I don't believe in psychics, but we got to free tickets to see her so we decided to go for fun. My wife actually got picked and asked why is her bladder messed up and why can't doctors find out what is wrong with it.

Sylvia told my wife it was because "her dad pisses her off" and her bladder is affected by her being mad. She said once she lets her dad stop bugging her then she will heal.

Seriously, is this not insane? Doctors ended up doing surgery on her bladder and she has a great relationship with her dad.

She uses cold reading and fishing at her shows. She is a fraud, a scam artist! It was shocking to see how obvious it was!

Do you believe in Sylvia Browne and other psychics?

If playing god is so bad when killing a fetus, why is it not so bad when killing an adult by capitol punishment?

Ok ok the fetus is innocent.

What about keeping someone alive who would have died of natural causes?
Isn't that playing god? Does that not start to mess up the natural balance of natural selection? Overpopulation?

You can't try to keep everyone alive all the time. Some people have to die to maintain balance. Right?

The Sea of Faith
Was once, too, at the full, and round earth's shore
Lay like the folds of a bright girdle furl'd.
But now I only hear
Its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar,
Retreating, to the breath
Of the night-wind, down the vast edges drear
And naked shingles of the world.
Ah, love, let us be true
To one another! for the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,
Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain
Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,
Where ignorant armies clash by night.
By Matthew Arnold (1822-88).

to end Man's wickedness? Is that the best solution He could come up with? Did He think long and hard about it? Did He float the idea with the angels before implementing it? Wouldn't an eviction notice have served the same purpose?

Which would you join and why?

Curious because some religions allow forgiveness for even the most barbaric sins, while others don't. I know I'm asking you to pass judgment here, but what's your best explanation?

I know that different churches do praise and worship to Christ in different ways so I was wondering if anyone could help me find scripture to read in the Bible so that I could figure out how God would like for me to worship him. Like some churches don't agree with raising your hands, dancing, speaking in tongues, etc. some churches sing LOUD and some are very reserved. I'd like to decide for myself with some scripture.....thanks!
