If God doesn't make mistakes, then how do we explain sickness, poverty, suffering and the fact that on this earth some people are given so much while others are given so little?

I'm working on a reseach paper and would love hearing different opinions. Thanks!

Read this:

"The hypothesis of marriage becomes all the more tenable by virtue of the title of "Rabbi," which is frequently applied to Jesus in the Gospels. It is possible, of course, that this term is employed in its very broadest sense, meaning simply a self-appointed teacher. But Jesus' literacy—his display of knowledge to the elders in the temple, for example—strongly suggests that he was more than a self-appointed teacher. It suggests that he underwent some species of formal rabbinical training and was officially recognized as a rabbi. This would conform to tradition, which depicts Jesus as a rabbi in the strict sense of the word. But if Jesus was a rabbi in the strict sense of the word, a marriage would not only have been likely, but virtually certain. The Jewish Mishnaic Law is quite explicit on the subject. "An unmarried man may not be a teacher."

So was he married or breaking Jewish law?

Where is there a good place on the web for serious questions about the Word? I feel attacked every time I read this board I know this is good because We will be persecuted for our beliefs. But this site is by choice so do we stay and keep feeling this way, or should we all spend time with like minded people. Do you ever feel that you have reached anyone from here?

Seems like the Christians are taking over India ,sooner or later India will be known as a Christian nation, tats what a Pastor from India mentioned, India might have the oldest religion or language but, it is very easy for Indians to get them convert.

Will this happen ?

Basically Hinduism do not teach selfishness, it teaches an acceptance of an open heart .
This teachiing cld be taken advantage in the means of conversion, to the extend one Indian boy who just got converted less than a month telling me that , within less than a year, India will be in the hands of Christianity.
Is it time to be firm from now......

If a red ant, and black ant met on a hill, and each had the idea that he/she was superior and had the correct faith to support that reasoning, and they decided to fight over it, which should win?
Which is right?
Is it the strength that makes it superior, or knowledge?

If I were to follow a man and monitor him for 33 years, I think I would have seen something. That's 24 hours a day for 12, 045 days. I challenge anyone to do that.

As we can see, democracy works better than monarchies.
To make another life, whether it be human or animal, TWO are involved. Not to mention all that is involved in it''s nurture as it grows.
In terms of plants, there are three necessities-seed, water/food, sun.
'E Pluribus Unum' 'of many, one'-phrase used by Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, & Benjamin Franklin
I see nothing logical or believable about a monotheistic belief.
