*chuckle* Maybe our appearances now are IMperfect. Maybe perfection is closer to being ape-like.

Then again, maybe the Bible is a very old story book from the ignorance Bronze Age and we should treat it as such.

While your question is basically a grammatical abortion, I understand your point.
Adam and Eve are the children of the Creation theory, and you make reference to the evolution theory, both are theoretical, and entirely separate.
Adam and Eve did not look like apes because, in theory, they did not evolve.

We never did look like apes. Adam and Eve were created HOLY, just as God is HOLY, so that they could communicate with Him.

Adam and Eve are just a metaphor to explain the creation. Some beliefs include the existance of a Lilith into that metaphor. Monkey is monkey aside of the metaphor. Which leads to an interesting question.
Are you monkey? That would explain your question.

I think you are getting two ideas mixed up here. You are getting Darwinism hypothesis mixed up with the biblical account. The biblical account is not scientific account but it is a philosophical account of who we are as humans. The bible is not interested in satisfying the curiosity of human nature. The bible reveals to us the nature and character of God. The Biblical account in Genesis tells us why God created the world. This is good enough for me personally. The bible tells is God created the world was through His word. His word brought the world into existence. Whether this is through the process of evolution or not, we do not know. These are only theories. The bible is not providing a theory of how the creation process took place but the bible wants us to know that it is God who spoke the world into existence.
Now, about humans being perfect. The bible never states that Adam and Eve were created perfect. They were innocent which is different from perfect. Only God is perfect. If Adam and Eve were perfect, then they would not have sinned. It is impossible for God to sin because He is perfect. Innocent people can lose their innocence which is exactly what happened with Adam and Eve, they lost their innocent and decided they want to be perfect like God without God. In their innocent state, God wanted them to learn to grow into perfection like He is perfect. This growth can only be accomplished through relationship with God. Like an innocent child growing into maturity through her relationship with her parents( in a ideal situation).
Just before I finish, I would like to say that the bible does not mention Adam and Eve being like apes but it does say that they were created in the image of God. This does not mean God looks exactly like us but we have some resemblance to God. We, as humans, are creative and reasonable beings and I think this is one of the aspects of our being that helps us reflect the image of God. I hope this answer helps. God bless.

Remember that in Genisis, God said "let US make man in OUR image....." So then it would be safe to say that Adam and Eve were made perfect, if they were made in the image of God

They're conflicting stories.

you don't believe both.

you either believe that mankind evolved from apes.

or that God created Adam and Eve looking like people you still see today.
