If God doesn't make mistakes, then how do we explain sickness, poverty, suffering and the fact that on this earth some people are given so much while others are given so little?

I'm working on a reseach paper and would love hearing different opinions. Thanks!

If you believe in the existence of a God, then you have to try and blame him for some of the mishaps on this earth, however, some are luckier than others. Poverty can be caused by the government for taxing too much. Sickness is more than likely a natural way of thinning out the herd so to speak, over time man has probably caused more sickness than mother nature. All these storms, high winds, floods etc.... is nature's way of cleansing itself, some people after the flood will go right back and buid back up to wait for next flood than complain they got hit again..... God didnt tell them to go back there. It is too easy to blame someone else, specially, a GOD that you cant see, feel, touch but only heard of. The human race is the only species that protects the weak, the sick, the crippled, that eventually weakens the genes and will lead to extinction. Animals on the contrary, protect the young and strong, and strenghten the herd, look for them to make a come back.

one who accepts god must also accept satin. when god cast satin down ,satin said that if given a chance he could prove that humans would choose him over god. god then stated that satin could try but that in the final hours he would see that humans would still call out to god for salvation. this is where disease and suffering play in. it is satin trying to prove that humans arent trustworthy, faithful, or compassionate.
well in most cases humans show poor judgement and choose to go along with satin because it is usually the easier choice and provides the most reward for the chooser. it isnt till these people get into severe trouble that god is able to prove that when people hit rock bottom that they will call out for him.
As far as poverty and monitary things are concerned, i do not feel like these are evils. think about it, how much is your life worth or the lives of your family? if i offered you 1 million dollars for the life of your first child would you take the $ ? if i offered you 1 million $ for your health and upon accepting the $ you'd become someone with the mind of a 4 yr old that would never mature, would you accept? so if you wouldnt accept then it appears $ has a very low actual value.
just to clear 1 more thing up.... have you ever spoke to a person with an immature mind. have you noticed how happy and content they are with what they have. most are happier than you and i. maybe it's because they arent jealous, pridefull and vendictive.

God gave everyone enough. The earth is plentiful with resources and materials, enough for everyone and even more than we need. The problem is that people are greedy and keep all those things for themselves, and they don't share it with the less fortunate, like God told us to. Sickness is inevitable; no one can last forever, and no one really wants to last forever, at least, not in old age when their body is not working anyway. Everyone has a set time on earth, and when it's done, it's somebody else's turn to be born and live their legacy. Poverty exists for the aforementioned reasons, but also because some people don't help themselves to get out of that situation. Some people depend on others to help them or keep hoping things are going to change.
Suffering is a product of human behavior and free will. People make conscious choices everyday that inflict suffering upon themselves and others, but they choose to do it anyway because that is what they want and they feel no one can stop them from choosing as they so desire.

It's like if you have a little ant farm. you can't put strings on the ants legs and hope to control them. You give them all they need- food, water, soil, and hope for the best. But if one ant starts hogging all the food and the other ants start rebelling, you cant just stick your hand in there and separate them. Eventually, they're going to start doing it again. You love them, but you have to let them live out their own life and make choices, but in the meantime, you are giving them all the resources necessary; only they can decide what to do with it.
In sum, God didn't make mistakes. People make mistakes.

It's explained in the book of Genesis. Humans exercised the free will that God gave them and choose to separate themselves from God by sinning.

God made people different, and certainly not all the same. Different people will have different life experiences. It can't be all equal.

Besides, the greatest gift of all -- a loving relationship with God -- doesn't depend on how much you have, how wealthy you are, or whether you are healthy or not. Focusing only on who has more or less good things in this world is losing sight of the bigger spiritual picture. God wants us to draw close to him, to learn from him, and to love him and one another. We can do that no matter what our circumstances in life.

I know that some people have very, very tough circumstances in life, and my heart is very sad about that. I often ask God to help those who suffer innocently. I don't fully understand why God allows some of it.

But I suspect that even those of us who go through the worst here on this troubled earth still have wonderful and glorious things waiting for us someday. And I know that God wants us all to learn lessons about love while we are here in this troubled world.

***why a lot misery and sorrow in this worldwide?*** Sin. and what's sin? Sin isn't doing Allah's will. certainly, Allah is the writer of the Universe. He made you so as that no person else that has ever lived is such as you. And He made you to stay at this element in time...in any different case, your residing now may well be a mistake. So what did Allah make you to achieve this which you're able to do Allah's will and not sin and upload misery of the worldwide? that's illogical to declare that Allah made you as a different guy or woman and then require you to do each and every thing in basic terms like anybody else. No, you have been made in a distinctive way from anybody else using way He needs you to serve Him. it incredibly is different from loose will which says you have the choice to sin or no longer considering the fact which you already know what God's will is. do you already know what God made you to do? in case you're saying you do no longer you're deceiving your self. How might Allah save you from understanding or doing what He made you to do? this variety of questioning is thoroughly illogical We would desire to do Allah's will or we are able to sin. you don't get to % what it incredibly is. no longer something that became into created does. You have been made by using Allah to do the flaws He made you to do. what's that? once you face Allah after your existence is ended, there is totally one question he will ask, "Did you do what I made you to do?" "i do no longer understand" ability "no". wish this enables

I don't presume to know why people have to deal with sickness or poverty or suffering, but if God did make mistakes; why would He anylonger be worthy of worship? He is either God and knows what He is doing even if we don't, or He is nonexistent and we are on our own. Neither scenario really gives you the answer you are seeking. Maybe the answer lies in the realm of things you aren't responsible for knowing. Just trust Him to work things out.

As someone else said, God has given us free will and humans make mistakes. We have all the tools necessary to conquer poverty and suffering, but we don't necessarily use them. And if you believe Genesis, mankind was given paradise without sickness or suffering or death, but threw it away by choosing to sin.

God did not make any mistakes. All the sickness and poverty came as a result of man's sinful ways, disobedience to God. It stated with Adam and Eve, and has basically snow balled from there. We live in a fall world, however, I personally believe that through Jesus, we can overcome this adversities.

I suggest reading Genesis! Many Blessings!
