Yes. I think it's wrong to judge anybody; it's not my job. I'll leave it to the big guy. It's okay to make an informed opinion; in fact I think it's very important to do that. Just make sure that your opinion has been educated with facts and even then we must remember that not every person of that denomination may believe what we think they do. If we can avoid judging and stereotyping, while having a clear (or as clear as possible) understanding of that belief; we will all be more tolerant and better people.

Yes, in Christianity we have many forms of denomination. They all worship the same God, but the form of this worship differs. Men like King Henry 8th, Charles Wesley, Martin Luther as well as many others started their own congregations that grew into the Episcopal Church, Methodist, and Lutheran. It is not the denomination but some of the people that causes the difficulties

Churches are full of people, and people are full of issues. These issues cause disagreements about many of the Christian teachings. If a church adheres to the Nicene Creed without adding to it or deleting anything from it, it is a true Christian church. We have no right to judge other denominations over our disagreements.

The Nicene Creed

We believe in one God,
the Father, the Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ,
the only Son of God,
eternally begotten of the Father,
God from God, light from light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made,
of one Being with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,
was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary
and became truly human.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered death and was buried.
On the third day he rose again
in accordance with the Scriptures;
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,
who proceeds from the Father [and the Son],
who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified,
who has spoken through the prophets.
We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church.
We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.
We look for the resurrection of the dead,
and the life of the world to come. Amen.

Do you mean other denominations or other religions? I believe it is wrong to judge anyone, but if you mean denominations than you are already judging everyone who isn't Christian but not even considering us worthy of the right NOT to be judged.

There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you who judge your neighbor? (James 4:12)
Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails, (1 Corinthians 13:4-8).

No, I don't. I think criticism is very important. One can criticize even what one loves. We just have to realize that we're free to criticize, not to tell others how they must run their affairs. We can point out the inaccuracies and hypocrisies of other faiths and philosophies, but we don't have the right to restrain others from practicing their faiths and philosophies as they see fit, so long as they are breaking no laws.

It is wrong to judge anyone else regarding their eternal salvation. However, if you believe your church's teachings are true and correct. that statement in itself stands as judgment that teachings of other churches that conflict with yours are false. I see no way around that, except to deny the existence of objective truth altogether, which renders religion fundamentally useless.

Yes....and no. When "other" denominations begin to leave the realm of the Creeds of Historic Christianity, it is meet and right that orthodoxy prevail upon them to come home.

The Creeds are simple. They contain the Faith Once Delivered. Like the great Dorothy Sayer wrote in her great little book: it's either "Creed or Chaos".
