The name "christians" is in the Bible, in Acts. It was first used in Antioch, I think.
Remember that Jesus HIMSELF said that when the Holy Spirit would come, their disciples would understand some issues which they weren't able to know when Jesus was still on earth. That happened mostly in Acts.

Jesus told the people to worship the God of Abraham = the triune God. We see even in the gospels people worshipping Jesus, and He didn't say it was wrong ( it would be, if Jesus wasn't God himself).

Regarding the cross, some groups use it, some don't, some people put it on their churches, some don't. It is not a basic simbol, anyway, just a rememberance of what Jesus did for us (it is wrong, though, when people forget that, and worship the simbol of the cross),

Jesus never founded a religious group. He came to die for man and have a relationship with him. The word Christian came from Christ (the anointed one and his anointing). If you are a follower of Jesus Christ then you are called a 'Christian'. But did He say you can't wear a cross or put it in your church And where did He say you can't worship the Trinity? God is my God too.

The Christian faith is not a "religion of the book." Christianity is the religion of the "Word" of God, a word which is "not a written and mute word, but the Word which is incarnate and living". If the Scriptures are not to remain a dead letter, Christ, the eternal Word of the living God, must, through the Holy Spirit, "open [our] minds to understand the Scriptures."
That written Word of God is manifested through The Holy Apostilic Catholic Church by the Holy Spirit who is Christ Himself.
We as Catholics believe all that the Church professes.

As has been reported, Jesus became a non secular Jew. He lived and died as a Jew. He believed that he became the Messiah and made claims in John that he "and the daddy are one". yet he did not start up a faith or call his human beings to start up a faith. The e book of Acts refers back to the early stream of what's now Christianity as "the way". initially the way tried to stay interior Judaism. although, The Jewish human beings did not settle for Jesus as Messiah and as Paul took the be conscious to the Gentile international, finally the church broke from Judaism. The call Christianity comes from the Greek artwork for Messiah. It in basic terms ability those who save on with Jesus because the Messiah. Pastor John

No. The first use of the term Christian came from Antioch, Acts 11, c. 48-50 A.D.
Jesus told the disciples to pray to God (father) in "His" name (Son), then He sent the Holy Spirit (3rd person).

No he never calls his religion Christianity.
he never said to wear a cross.
even not to put in the churches.
he never said to worship trinity.
All these things came into the world after him.
But,
yes he said to worship only a God who chooses him as His Prophet for that time and sent him in the world to preach the people.

I don't worship Jesus, I love Jesus.
I pray to the Father in Jesus' name, as He taught us to do.

To the extent that we wear or display a cross, it is not for worship, it is a reminder, and a sign to others that we have accepted Jesus as the Christ.

I have a beautiful tie with the cross on it, and you would not believe the number of people in stores and restaurants that stop me to talk about how much they love my tie, and my witness by wearing it.

Jesus did not create a religion, the people after him did. There is a lot of garbage about who he made head of his church, but when that was written, Jesus had been dead for 100 years.
