It seems to me that so many people now days, especially teens and people in their twenties, claim to be bi-sexual. Are these people confused, are they really bi or are they just trying to be cool and fit in?

ie christians, atheists, islam etc, do people of opposite beliefs answer the question? If you do not belong to (or never have) that particular belief system, why even bother speculating?

There's a story (in Kings I believe) about there being found in the Temple a scroll of the Law, that seemed to be hitherto unknown. This was in the time of Josiah.

Scholars tend to believe this was Deuteronomy, and that it was written at that time, and not merely "found." Interestingly, the book of Deuteronomy supports the reforms which Josiah made.

I'm not asking for evidence that this is right or wrong.
I'm asking only, does this ever make you doubt? How do you deal with the doubts? Do you truly never doubt when confronted with things like this? Honest answers please!

Thanks.

In the christian bible it states GOD said it is not good for man to be alone so he himself made woman for man. Yet as a bhuddist I have practiced the gift of celibacy for many years with no problems and I also hear catholic priests take a vow of celibacy. What is your view on this in religious perspectives?

Denying it once is enough, don't you think. Why must non-believers constantly keep denying the existense of the ALMIGHTY? What do you get out of it?

Exodus 21:7-11
7. "If a man sells his daughter as a female slave, she is not to go free as the male slaves do.
8. "If she is displeasing in the eyes of her master who designated her for himself, then he shall let her be redeemed. He does not have authority to sell her to a foreign people because of his unfairness to her.
9. "If he designates her for his son [Note: "his son" means that the master is either her father's age or even much older!], he shall deal with her according to the custom of daughters.
10. "If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights.
11. "If he will not do these three things for her, then she shall go out for nothing, without payment of money

According to Leviticus, the penalty for violating any of the Ten Commandments is death. Not in some abstract "wages of sin" kind of thing -- no, death by stoning in most cases.

Should that be posted in courthouses and schools too?

As a teen, my friends and I went to a religious revival in a church that had a psychic. He said some lame stuff to each of us and then "blessed" us by pushing down on our foreheads really hard.

He was so full of it, he was trying to fish infomation out of us! I still don't believe in them, no one can read minds or talk to the dead!

Remember Hoodini said if it was possible to contact anyone through psychics then he would have one give his widowed wife a secret code. No one was ever able to tell her the code.

What do you think about psychics?
