Which says that women must be burned to death (the most horrible punishment) for sexual immorality ?!??? - in Islam burning any living creature is strictly forbidden

The General Overseer of the Christian Praying Assembly (CPA), Isolo, Lagos, Dr. Reverend King poured petrol on seven members of his church on July 22, 2006 at the church premises, 6B Canal View, Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos and set them alight. This was after he had accused them of indulging in sexual immorality.

They ask the same generalizing question every half an hour, basically saying that because we have different views from them we are "bashing" them or "hating" them. How hard is it for them to accept that someone just might not agree with them?

If you don't believe, that's fine. It's your soul, and it's your choice. But why do you go out of your way to disrespect people who do believe? What do you think you gain from it? Could you be drawn to it because you really want to believe in something to fill the emptiness you feel inside?

Matthew 7
1Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

so if we judge for correction with the intent to improve others then we will be improved. And shouldn't that be the goal, to improve the church by removing what doesn't work and replacing it with what does work? We must understand that there are two types of judgment, one that is made to destroy and one that is made to correct. What if a faith full Christian contractor did not judge and criticize the work of a someone working underneath him? whatever he made could be defective and cause more harm than good.

also consider these verses:
John 7:24
1 Corinthians 6:2-5
1 Corinthians 11:30-32
1 Corinthians 14:23-25

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

[3:64]

Say, "O followers of the scripture, let us come to a
logical agreement between us and you: that we shall not
worship except GOD; that we never set up any idols
besides Him, nor set up any human beings as lords beside
GOD." If they turn away, say, "Bear witness that we are
submitters."

Call on the Jews

In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

[2:40]

O Children of Israel, remember My favor, which I bestowed
upon you, and fulfill your part of the covenant, that I
fulfill My part of the covenant, and reverence Me.

[2:41]

You shall believe in what I have revealed herein,
confirming what you have; do not be the first to reject
it. Do not trade away My revelations for a cheap price,
and observe Me.

[2:42]

Do not confound the truth with falsehood, nor shall you
conceal the truth, knowingly.

[2:43]

You shall observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give
the obligatory charity (Zakat), and bow down with those
who bow down.

[2:44]

Do you exhort the people to be righteous, while
forgetting yourselves, though you read the scripture? Do
you not understand?

[2:45]

You shall seek help through steadfastness and the Contact
Prayers (Salat). This is difficult indeed, but not so for
the reverent,

[2:46]

who believe that they will meet their Lord; that to Him
they ultimately return.

[2:47]

O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I bestowed
upon you, and that I blessed you more than any other
people.

[2:48]

Beware of the day when no soul can avail another soul, no
intercession will be accepted, no ransom can be paid, nor
can anyone be helped.

[2:49]

Recall that we saved you from Pharaoh's people who
inflicted upon you the worst persecution, slaying your
sons and sparing your daughters. That was an exacting
test from your Lord.

[2:50]

Recall that we parted the sea for you; we saved you and
drowned Pharaoh's people before your eyes.

[2:51]

Yet, when we summoned Moses for forty nights, you
worshiped the calf in his absence, and turned wicked.

[2:52]

Still, we pardoned you thereafter that you may be
appreciative.

[2:53]

Recall that we gave Moses scripture and the statute book,
that you may be guided.

[2:54]

Recall that Moses said to his people, "O my people, you
have wronged your souls by worshiping the calf. You must
repent to your Creator. You shall kill your egos. This is
better for you in the sight of your Creator." He did
redeem you. He is the Redeemer, Most Merciful.

[2:55]

Recall that you said, "O Moses, we will not believe
unless we see GOD, physically." Consequently, the
lightning struck you, as you looked.

*2:55 It is noteworthy that the word "GOD" in this verse
is the 19th occurrence, and this is the verse where the
people demanded "physical evidence." The Quran's
mathematical code, based on the number 19, provides such
physical evidence. Note also that 2+55=57=19x3.

[2:56]

We then revived you, after you had died, that you may be
appreciative.

[2:57]

We shaded you with clouds (in Sinai), and sent down to
you manna and quails: "Eat from the good things we
provided for you." They did not hurt us (by rebelling);
they only hurt their own souls.

[2:58]

Recall that we said, "Enter this town, where you will
find as many provisions as you like. Just enter the gate
humbly, and treat the people nicely. We will then forgive
your sins, and increase the reward for the pious."

[2:59]

But the wicked among them carried out commands other than
the commands given to them. Consequently, we sent down
upon the transgressors condemnation from the sky, due to
their wickedness.

[2:60]

Recall that Moses sought water for his people. We said,
"Strike the rock with your staff." Whereupon, twelve
springs gushed out therefrom. The members of each tribe
knew their own water. Eat and drink from GOD's
provisions, and do not roam the earth corruptingly.

[2:61]

Recall that you said, "O Moses, we can no longer tolerate
one kind of food. Call upon your Lord to produce for us
such earthly crops as beans, cucumbers, garlic, lentils,
and onions." He said, "Do you wish to substitute that
which is inferior for that which is good? Go down to
Egypt, where you can find what you asked for." They have
incurred condemnation, humiliation, and disgrace, and
brought upon themselves wrath from GOD. This is because
they rejected GOD's revelations, and killed the prophets
unjustly. This is because they disobeyed and
transgressed.

[2:62]

Surely, those who believe, those who are Jewish, the
Christians, and the converts; anyone who (1) believes in
GOD, and (2) believes in the Last Day, and (3) leads a
righteous life, will receive their recompense from their
Lord. They have nothing to fear, nor will they grieve.

From the point of view of Islam the only criteria for salvation is

1) belief in God,

2) belief in the
Hereafter, and

3) leading a righteous life.

I stretch my hand to you on behalf of all the true believers.

1. There are certain rights and duties that must be considered in order to know what the ethical choice is. For example, it is wrong to lie. It's your duty to tell the truth, no matter the consequences. People have a right to the truth.

2. What matters is the outcome. If telling the truth hurts someone, then you should lie in that case.

3. It matters more what kind of person you are than just what you do in a particular situation. You want to be the kind of person who is truthful, for example.

4. What matters is the intention of the person.

5. Some other system of ethics!

Everyone now a days seems to have become an expert on islam, and also seem to have become an experts on women's rights.

yet at the same time those critics don't know the first thing about islam and don't know the first thing about women's rights.

A little earlier someone asked:
Is there pussy in heaven?

This as you probably know is refering to women.

This is so degrading and disgusting, refering to women in such a manner, as if they are not human beings, as if they are just an object to be used as a piece of meat, not even a human being.
So now tell me who is oppressed; women through the islamic faith or women through western faith.

I encourage you to watch this regardless of your faith, escpecially the 2nd video

...an Atheist / Wiccan / Pagan / Buddhist / non-Christian if you loved them?

(I exclude children from the relationship since otherwise everyone would say "But what would we raise the children to believe?")

And, once married, would you leave them be to practice their own religion and not try to convert them?

you have to read it all to get what im asking!

i know nothing about god.... heck, i thought jonah was a whale. but anyways, i think god made a ton of stuff in like a week. like earth the first day, sun the second day and all that crap. and then he made people on like the seventh day or something. but how the heck does he make people the week after the planet is created? My question--- what day did he create the dinosaurs???? because I know that people came millions/billions of years after the dinosaurs. and that totally makes no sense. all this god crap is getting soo hard to believe. like what about evolution and darwinism? I believe that people came from monkeys. duh. but then again, wouldn't that make me an atheist? and my other question--- If this all started out with Adam and Eve, wouldn't that mean their kids had to have kids, and there kids and so on??? that is sooo incessed (however you spell it)!!!
so please answer all my questions or what you can answer and what you think!

This is a question for Christians only, I don't want a bunch of teenaged Atheists telling me "its because he isn't real". It has just bothered me that divine healing, always takes place in the unseen world. "my back used to hurt, now I am fine" Why hasn't God regenerated a leg or an arm that was missing. Its not outside of his ability, right? It doesn't make sense to me? Any ideas?

The user "Heaven's Messenger" suggested this very idea in the above question. The question was "Why do people not accept evolutionary theory?". To quote Heaven's Messenger exactly, "Speaking for conservative Christians, we accept the truth of God's word, not satanic ideas and trickery to discredit the Bible."

So... is evolution nothing more than Satanic trickery used to discredit the Bible?

when you hold very strong beliefs yourself that means a lot to you .
why would you say one God is wrong and another right
why would you say that those who believe differently to you are evil or lost or anything negative at all
dont you realise that the hurt they feel when you say that is the hurt you would feel if it was said about you ?

please try and walk in their shoes a moment before commenting on their beliefs
you of all people should understand how much a persons beliefs matters and that it can hurt

this only applies to those from religions who make it their buisiness to judge others
because i know that not everyone does this

Say now that you form friends with someone and you are quite close. But then the topic of religion comes up, something that both or one of the friends comes up. But the friends have different belief systems (like Christian blief versus Athiesm or other).

Should one cast away the friendship since there will be a thought in each person that the other has the wrong idea or stay friends?
