Everyone now a days seems to have become an expert on islam, and also seem to have become an experts on women's rights.

yet at the same time those critics don't know the first thing about islam and don't know the first thing about women's rights.

A little earlier someone asked:
Is there pussy in heaven?

This as you probably know is refering to women.

This is so degrading and disgusting, refering to women in such a manner, as if they are not human beings, as if they are just an object to be used as a piece of meat, not even a human being.
So now tell me who is oppressed; women through the islamic faith or women through western faith.

I encourage you to watch this regardless of your faith, escpecially the 2nd video

It tickles me pink each and every time this question is asked. Take me for example I am a Muslim. I don't see it that way at all. I Never go outside, unless I have to, that was my choice. I take care of my husband when he has guests, he never serves them himself. It's a shame but what the heck. I'm the mistress of the kitchen. I always give him sex whenever he wants it. What the heck I'm the mistress of sex. No big deal. I do it because it's the secret to keeping a man happy. At least it's the trick with my husband.
Women in the ME feel protected they do not feel that they are oppressed in any way shape or form. I can speak for myself in that aspect. I don't. You have to know that I am naturally obedient and that is laughed at in the Western cultures. It's like me admitting I'm gay (sorry no insult intended) People like me are weird, their freaks, because women should not be like that after all we have the right to vote...obedience is the strength of my feminity.
I don't cover because of a fear of things going over my face or on my head. So I have to do according and if I believe in my self it is not right to go out unless necessary and I except that condition in myself that is what counts.

I have to agree with Vinslave on this one. Where are we talking about?

The Quran is not very equitable with regards to the sexes. The Bible is less so.

However, cultures can choose to ignore those parts of their holy books. In America, women have it better than in, say, Iran. That doesn't mean that America is perfect, though - far from it. Nor does it mean that Christianity is better than Islam.

women folk are literally not oppressed in Islam! in case you listen one undesirable tale about a woman who became compelled to placed on the hijab then you definitely won't be able to generalize this to each and each Muslim lady. To me oppression isn't being respected for who you're in this interior really human beings decide you and act in the route of you in accordance with what they see really than what they understand. The hijab is eye-catching, in case you had 2 chocolates and also you took the rapper off one and then threw them both which one might want to you devour? of route the only WITH the wrapper nonetheless on because it truly is purifier than the different. in case you're a rapist, who're you extra likely to rape a woman who covers herself good with the hijab or a woman donning tight clothing and a short skirt, it truly is logical. in case you seem at Mary the mother of Jesus (might want to advantages and peace be upon them both) she wore lose clothing and did not educate her hair a twin of MUSLIMS and she or he's between the perfect examples of significant women folk in the historic past of guy form. I keep in mind that in some international places women folk do no longer have a similar rights as men e.g. in Saudi Arabia women folk cannotpersistent, and for me it truly is incorrect and so as a sturdy Muslim i ought to do my perfect to target to abolish those undesirable habit. yet back you could't generalize this for MUSLIMS!!. The Prophet stated (PBUH): "the perfect between you is the only which is the perfect in the route of his spouse" "Paradise lies on the feet of your moms."

I heard that in Afghanistan under the Taliban women were not even allowed to attend school. This is certainly more oppressive than in the west.

Most women in Islam do not believe that they are oppressed. They want Islam and love Allah. Most women in Islam recieve educations just as their male counterparts do.

He talks a good talk, so what?

Why don't you link that Muslim man beating his wife on youtube. That's a good one. Not all men do that? Well not all westerners use escorts and I would like to point out that escorts are well paid and willing. What choice does the woman in Islam have?
