Goodness, no! Christianity is one of the most organized religions out there. If Christianity isn't a religion, then what is?

I consider "spiritual" people to be people who believe in something, but don't accept the structure of a certain holy text, prophet, etc.

Yes. True Christianity is very spiritually based. Religion is simply customs and traditions. Christianity is a spiritual relationship between the Christian and Christ.

Absolutely not. I have been a practicing Christian for 50 years, and a clergyman for 12 of them....and I have no idea what the term "spirituality" means. There are lots of "spirits' out there...some of them not very nice ones.

Christians are indwelt with only ONE spirit - the Holy Spirit. At our Baptism. That is pure religion.

As St. James said: "Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world." James 1:27

Spirituality and adherence to dogma are notably diverse issues. The christians that do not realize this have a tendency to be very undesirable at both. is reasonably I have met some very religious christians, yet they seem few and far between. i understand many more effective religious atheists, agnostics, pagans, Heathens and "different" others than i understand religious christians. i imagine it does come right down to the confusion most of seem to have about the relationship (or somewhat the shortcoming of a relationship) between dogma and spirituality.

To me...my christianity is a relationship not a religion. Its about a relationship with the creator. The biggest problem with the church today is religion....even Jesus didn't like the Religious Pharosies in the bible.....people who just wanted to be seen with a holier than thou attitude....there is so much more freedom when you center your life on a relationship with God and not just a religion.

SPirituality comes from within, christianity comes from a book.

A christian man goes to church, and sits
impatiently and day dreaming of fishing. A spiritual
man goes fishing, and day dreams of God. christianity runs
on guilt, fear, sin and is mind driven. Spiritualism
runs on truth, peace, and joy, and is Heart driven.
Spiritualism is a life style christianity is a learned
from a book and folk lore you're born spiritual!!!!
