Only you hold the answer to that question. Never start a question with "Do you think it is okay" Who cares what other people think. Life is way too short to worry about what others think. God knows you love him so worship at home if thats what you want to do. As long as you believe. You are just setting yourself up to let others pass judgement on you, when truly God is the only one that can do that.

God Bless

i think it is ok, if u cannot go to a church for some physical or other reason (like, haven't found a Comfortable place to worship, don't like the people or pastor, etc)... perhaps u can watch a sermon on tv, or read up on a few chapters and do a bible study on ur own.

*however*.. one Extremely important thing u will be missing out on is Fellowship. i never understood the improtance of it until i foudn this tiny church that i am currently going to now... before, i didn't feel comfy w/ the other people at church, i came and left quickly... now i am part of an Awesome group of people, i love the pastor, i feel soo.... free to be myself, ask questions, etc etc!!! :) i really encourage u to continue seeking a place and people u can have that wonderful fellowship with...

other than that, keep it up~~ as long as u are always seeking and learning for truth and love and kindness and all things Good, i believe it will take u to the right path. good luck~

ABSOLUTELY! The church is just a building, it is a dwelling place for beleivers to come together and worship as one. Home is where your heart is. If you pray at home you are worshipping God. When you pray over the food you are about to eat, you are worshipping GOD. When you ask God to give you strength so you don't kill your bad kids, you are worshipping God (lol) In other words, you can worship God anyplace you choose.

I would say that is the way that early Christians worshiped God. There weren't churches for them to go to, in fact they had to do it in secrecy unless the Jews stoned them or Romans fed them to felines.

I think the Bible says that getting together with others is what is important, because it reaffirms your faith. Where 2 or 3 are gathered, there I will be also is written somewhere in the new testament. I think the physical building, doesn't really matter that much. In fact many churches are really country clubs with steeples. Think about how many times you have spent in church discussing what sins so and so has partaken in.

Personally I prefer the country club where its my golf game that is criticized verses my moral compass.

Asking this question betrays a lack of understanding on what the Bible teaches about worship. Worship is not about doing what we normally call worship in a place, or a "holy" place like the church hall or sanctuary. Try to recall what Jesus taught about true worshippers in John 4 and what Paul said about true worship in Romans 12:1.

The Bible clearly teaches in Hebrews 10:25 that we are not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together in the local church. It is a command! Don't Forsake. To worship God at home without having a local church you call "home" is a clear violation of Scripture

I think so. What about people who work and can't attend service? I know Sunday's are supposed to be day's of rest and worship, but in today's society people actually have to work. The whole world can't stop. In that case, yes, you can worship at home, in your car, in your office, or wherever you happen to be during that time.

church is just a building, God is at home, where loved ones are, he is in the grass and trees watching the sparrows, he is anywhere love is found, you don't need to go to a building to find him, just into your heart.

if you're handicapped, you can't go to church. God doesn't frown to those that don't go to the temple as long as they adore him and truly live up to his teachings.
