Don't bother. The problem with tarot is that the reading will change every time you do it. How do I know this? Because I've done readings for years for fun. I learned a long time ago that there isn't much fact to them.

No easy answer for you - I recommend going by word of mouth. How you get that word might be difficult.

But you know what - check your yellow pages under metaphysical. In particular look for any stores that sell occult items. Check with them; they may do readings there or they may know of some who do.

It's a place to start at least.

My own recommendation is to avoid people who use names such as Madame This or Princess That. I prefer people named Susan or Rebecca. I can do without the silly trappings!

EDIT: I think those of us who have an interest in the paranormal should start screaming "persecution!" Look at all the "helpful" people who just come in here to preach. Gotta love 'em.

There are no decent Tarot readers. None can actually predict anything. That's all bunk. The most they can do is what's called "cold reading" where they glean information from the asker so they can appear to know about them.
