We were told to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Jesus told his disciples, if they won't listen, dust your feet off and keep going. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. We plant and water and God draws. We are a vessel for God to use. God just needs more willing vessels.

According to John 6:44 and 6:65, no man has the ability to come to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation unless and until God the Father graciously grants him this ability and effectually draws him to Christ. The word "draw" in John 6:44 and 12:32 means "to drag or pull by inward power or divine impulse without meeting with any resistance or opposition from the person or thing being dragged or pulled." These verses, then, do not teach that some or all men have the natural ability to come to Christ if they are only willing to do so, but rather that no man is able to come to Christ at all until he is made willing to do so by being effectually drawn to Him by God the Father.

If a person does what God says is necessary to become a christian, or accept christ, then he will have done God's will. It would be granted by the Father. Ultimately, God says who is saved and who is not, and knows who's name is written in the Lamb's book of life. I don't see any effect on this in spreading the word. We are still commanded to do so, and share with the Lost.

Faith is the 'it.'

Faith comes by hearing the word of God.

64"But there are some of you who do not believe " For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who it was that would betray Him.

65And He was saying, "For this reason I have said to you, that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted him from the Father."

In this context, Jesus is merely talking about his 12 disciples. They were chosen by God.

meaning we can talk to a person about Christ until they are blue in the face. When God gets ready to receive us, He'll set it up that we come right to Him. Like Christ sadi before He ascended up, If I be lifted up from the Earth, I'll draw all men unto me. We don't have drawing power only God. We have influence, we have our testinomy. So we hold onto that, and hope God moves in the persons life.

preach the Word , not the churches word, or Your Word. all the bible, to woman in abidance under the man, their punishment from God when Adam and eve sinned. woman's hair covered in church, only paste rs speak in church, there still aloud to talk out side the Church, If they have to be so obedient to man, man should be in charge everything, all the bible customs. New testament, they Jesus teach along with the disciples. and Not I'm not Catholic. I learned not to bow to people of this world, threw seeking gods face. My own Ideas Why God was more harsh on a woman is she was deceived by the devil, we men were deceived by Her. and When she was tested by the devil she had to go to man for direction, she should have went to God, now she always is under our authority. I'm not saying to treat her like Crap, treat her like a Queen, U just have the rule. look it Up When woman was punished.

I must be missing the point - is that proverb or whatever it is supposed to describe a method for preaching? I'm lost.

Don't preach

God also said that we have free will, so why try and bend the wills of others if they don't want to believe.
We are not here to convert, just to live and get alog, but we can't even do that, so how are we sure any of us will be getting into that private club.

I do recall that there was another passage, in Peter I think, that says "do not be a busybody in other mens affairs". Doesn't that mean Christians should mind their own business??
