God knew what sin Adam committed, and the actions he did to commit that sin. Why did God ask this question of Adam?
Do you believe that this is the first example of God showing humanity the necessity of verbally confessing our sins.

HELLO ALL I KNOW THIS WILL get reported BUT CAN YOU PRAY FOR US?
many of you know that in 2005 my oldest daughter was murdered. we have been in trial since last. Tuesday. the jury began deliberations today. Though there is plenty of evidence of guilt on the killer we all know anything can happen. Not guilty is not something I can deal with especially after listening to all the lies and hearing the evidence. please say a special prayer tonight for a just verdict tomorrow. we go back to court to await verdict at 9:00am Thursday thank you and bless you

i have read the bible and came across some thing rather strange really it said that a person is judged upon there actions after they die not before they die since no man or woman can judge there own actions as being good or evil

Any enlightenment for me regarding this matter is deeply appreciated especially if it will be supported by some facts or verses.
Tarnishing the image of Jesus out of praises is seems evil to me.

When ever I look into the Region and Spirituality category, people are always attacking one another. Why is it so hard to be respectful of one anothers beliefs? I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and love teh gospel. But I don't try to force it on anyone or hate anyone for believing differently. It's called free agency. I do tell people about my religion, because I want them to know about it and have the chance to study it for themselves, but I respect their decisions and personal beliefs. I just don't understand why there is so much hate for someone that simply feels differently then you.

Just against scripture and the religion itself, not Christians themselves. I would like to make a list of the arguments that are backed up by evidence. Thanks in advance.

some of the questions and answers that are posted here?

If so...do you think that our offenses can be (subconsciously) transmitted to life outside of the veil of our computers? So much that we show hatred to our fellow human beings who we would have tolerated under normal circumstances?

My son went to Christian Private School at one time. He no longer does. Too much politics. While he was in the school, he gave us (his parents) a questionaire to fill out. One of the questions was; what was my thoughts and opinion of God. The school was NOT happy with my answer.

"I believe God created everything. The last thing God created was Woman. Because when he created Woman, he had created perfection. There was nothing else to create. " I went on to explain that people recognize this perfection with statues, beauty pagents, photographs and paintings of women. There is nothing more perfect, in my opinion, than women.

To worship women is to worship perfection.

Like I said, the school hated my answer. What do you think?

some believes in. I used to be very big on reincarnation, but the way the world is going these days reincarnation is a scary thing because who would want to return to earth with the mess it is in instead of spending my life in heaven with my family forever. here is the question if i do not focus on reincarnation beliefs am i still allowed to think that reincarnation can be real if i am a christian. Not to say i would preach reincarnation because i would not but it will always be in the back of my mind. I would like a answer from all different beliefs of people and no mean answers please.

I am a church choir director (children & teens) with little budget, throwing together a musical and basing it on the life of the saints -- the skit parts will be little vignettes of saints and we'll sprinkle in some songs here and there. The basic plot will be a girl trying to figure out just what a "saint" is, and we're talking living saints as well as dead ones. It'll lead to the idea of the Community of Saints.

There are so many saints to choose from, help! Do you have a favorite?

I'm looking for saints of all characters ... not all were sweet little things, some had some righteous anger going on. Some martyrs, some hermits, etc., and not just the "popular" ones, either (John the Baptist, Mary & Martha, etc.).

So, please give me your favorite saint. Thanks!

Why is it that everone thinks I should just keep going on living? I have tons of emotional and medical problems now. I just feel so sad sometimes. I have a history of bi-polar disorder in my family & definitely have some of those symptoms. I do not respond well to the medications. I used to be a Christian, but do not feel that I can go back. I truly feel that God has abandoned me. There is NOTHING that makes me feel good anymore and I have a horrible relationship with my family. Also...a good friend of mine killed himself and I'd like to be with him. I am just SO tired.

1 million Armenians have to die so that the Turks could exercise their free will?

6 million Jews have to die so that the Nazi's could exercise their free will?

1 million Cambodians have to die so that the Khmer Rouge could exercise their free will?

You get the picture.

Couldn't He have stopped it?

I see lots of protesting that Israel has 'taken' Palestinian land. But do you not find it slightly hypocritical that the Dome Of The Rock has been built on the holiest Jewish site?
I mean, this is the one and only holy site for Jews. Muslims have Mecca and Medina also.
Yet Jewish people are not even allowed onto their holy site?
And even though Israel is a Jewish state they still allow Muslims into it.
Do you not think this is a little unfair?
Not trying to start an argument but was wondering about your views on this matter. Thanks.

I'm serious here. I want people who actually know and study about the crucifixion of christ to answer this. Because it's seems kind of pointless to me that jesus is like "I'm dying for your sins" and then people still go to hell. what was the point of him dying then?

Now to tell the truth, I'm not a christian, but i am curious and want to learn. I know that there was a man named jesus who lived till about 33 A.D. who was crucified. that has all been proven. i may believe something different then you as to why he was crucified, but i want to know the reasoning behind the christian belief as to why he was cruicifide.

i'm not trying to trash your beliefs and if i accidently come off that way, then let me apologize in advance.

Isn't this contradictory?
If one life is sacred (and ironically, you seem to be willing to blow up clinics or kill doctors who perform abortions) then they must therefore, ALL be sacred.
Right?
