Kind of a loaded question, you are assuming that believers accept Jesus into their hearts, and it's not a business transaction. It's the Holy Spirit that works in an effectual calling that regenerates and saves.

"Guaranteed to be saved no matter what you have done" is doublespeak for a free will argument against Calvinism, which looks at the believer as being saved from eternity to eternity through God's choice, not man's. If the Holy Spirit is active in a believer's heart, they will not want to sin, and this leads to a contrite heart rather than haughtiness as the Arminian would have you believe.

It's all about your heart...if you believe that Christ took your punishment on the cross and that there is no other way to God except through him....then you are saved...
It doesn't matter what you have DONE...it does matter what you will now DO---obviously though you will want to serve him! It's not just the words that come out of your mouth "accepting" him...it's your heart being transformed and your life being changed to live for him---that's being saved...and it can't be undone. No one can snatch us out of his hand :)

anyone can "accept" Christ just for security purposes but not really have a changed heart...not really be saved.
But all Christians are sinners and will continue to sin throughout their lives...it's how they learn and grow through these sins and how they HOPEFULLY become smaller and smaller in comparison to one another that show their faith growing.

You are asking an old point of contention between denominations. There are the once save, always saved...and there are the use it or lose it. My answer to you would be yes on both. If you were saved you are saved. If you were not, you won't be. God is not restricted by time. He knows the choices each will make. We are encouraged to do the best we can, but the results will not change. Our free will is known before it happens.

No. This is the "once saved, always saved" inaccuracy.

We all have free will, the ability to choose. When we repent, we choose God; when we sin, we choose hell. We have this choice every second of our lives. A person could have accepted Christ into their heart 20 years ago, but if after that time they fell into a life of sin, continue in it, and do not wish to repent, they risk eternal damnation. This is why we must learn to depend on the grace of God for strength and courage, so that when death comes, our souls will be ready for Him.

Yes, but remember Christ looks at the heart. If your heart is good and you have accepted Jesus, you will be saved.

Those who accept the atonement of Christ are saved by faith. There are two types of people sinners who have not accepted the atonement and those who have. If a man accepts the atonement of Christ he is saying that he is a sinner and unworthy and that Christ the son of God who was perfect did pay the penalty of death for him. Saying this is agreeing that the man of sin is by faith nailed to the cross with Christ and that we are resurrected in his glory and are now new creatures free to worship God in spirit and truth. New creatures do not follow sin. If amn says he i save yet lives his life following sin then he is not a new creature but a sinner who is under law and will be judged accordingly. It is by faiht we say we are new creatures as we are not yet dead and still in our sinful flesh i the sinful world. He who endures to the end is truly saved.

Well, truly accepting Jesus means that you constantly evade sin, which is not an easy thing. I could accept that Jesus exists and pray to him evey day of my life, but I don't have faith and still commit sins, then no, I won't be saved. You could accept Jesus and try to be a humble and righteous person, repent for your sins and try to not commit them again...then that's another story.

Yes. Saving sinners was Jesus' main mission on earth, it was his raison d'être, the purpose for which he was born. It is why his name is Jesus:

Matthew 1:21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

When asked why he mixed with sinners, Jesus said that he came to save sinners:

Luke 5:31 And Jesus answered them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. 32 I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance."

Remember the criminal on the cross next to Jesus who said to Jesus, "Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus replied to him, "Truly, I say to you today you will be with me in Paradise" ( Luke 23:42-43).

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Edit: Guys this isn't about Calvin vs Arminius, it is about basic salvation - if someone accepts God into their heart, will God turn him away and not save him because of something he has done in the past? Is there no hope for even a repentant sinner? Come on, leave Calvin and Arminius out and see what does the Bible teach. Sola scriptura.

You accept Jesus by faith and faith is what keeps you saved.
When I person accepts Jesus their sins are forgiven. This does not mean that they can do whatever they like and continue to be saved.
The Bible says that those who endure--keep the faith--- to the end will be saved!
