Actually mine is a bit different. I believe the Gospel and Church Doctrine, it's just there a lot of urban myths that have sprung up within our Church. The urban myths tend to drive me nuts. I am LDS. My personal favorite urban legend is we picked out our mate before birth--yet everyone has their own free agency in this life to live however they please. So is someone living a Christian life going to pair up with someone who lives for their next drug fix? No, it would be ludicrous. I believe there may be some couples occassionly which have a personal mission to fulfill that may have made such choices, I just don't think every married couple has made these choices. After all, I sure have made my share of mistakes when I was younger.

absolutely
that is why i now have my own personal religion
people should understand that spirituality isnt about what they tell u to believe, its about feeling it, before questioning their religion or insulting other religions, they should do a thorough investigation first to actually understand it, that is how i came to the conclusion that all religions are based on the same "information" that comes from nature's energy (a.k.a. the holy spirit/God which is what everything and everyone is made of, which may be sound, electrons or anything that science has proven), and that it is just interpreted in different ways by different people of different cultures, but all in all, it's all the same basic information about peace and how to achieve spiritual growth through one's actions and choosing one's points of view

As a Christian I find that through faith, my beliefs conform to God standards. Sometimes I don't understand, like when someone I love dies unexpectedly or prematurely. It hurts, but I still accept it.

I do have disagreements with fellow Christians at times, but that's because we're both human. And if a Christian believes in abortion or anything else contrary to God's laws, they are Christian in name only.

We make a choice to believe and we accept 100%. The bible is not a Chinese menu.

Many things in religion are not updated in our present life, that's why some people may disagree with some things in their religions.
Some will stick to the old times, we call them fanatics.
Some will personalized the religion, the fanatics call them liberal.
However, all roads will lead to God sooner or later.

Hi...This is a very good question...not like some of the others that are on here...

Yes...is my answer...I am a Catholic and I was brought up going to Catholic school (elem and HS). Some of the things I disagree with are about hell. I don't believe in a hell. I just believe in pergatory (and that is just not seeing God's face). I think also that the Catholic church is wrong with the whole marriage defination. I believe God loves everyone for who they are...He may have higher expectations of you..but he created everyone. I believe that you are born being gay...(i.e I am the youngest of 6 and one of my siblings is gay). I don't like the fact that I have heard priests tell her that God doesn't love her...I don't think that is true. I think they (homo sexuals) have every right to get married. Create everyone as equals. Do unto others as you would want them to do to you. It just goes against commandments...hmm...

I hope this helped your questions.....

Have a wonderful day!

Yes. Not such big issues, rather interpretations of bible passages, etc. I, however, think that the road to heaven is not occupied by a single sect of religion, so it's not like only Catholics that believe exactly what their doctrine says go to heaven, it's more a seeking to do the good and getting it as close as you can...kind of.

Definitely. I think most religious folks are that way. I, for one am a devout Christian, but I am in favor of same-sex marriage and am not morally opposed to monogamous homosexuality I am, however opposed to promiscuous homosexual behavior. This is because I am opposed to all promiscuity, homosexual or heterosexual (I don't like the word 'straight'. It implies that it's the only right way to be. I identify myself as 'heterosexual').

I am a calvinist, but I don't believe that God just choose me and other people because we were special, I think Jesus was crusified for everyone and its up to them whether they except it or not. I do believe that God new from the beginning who would except ot or not. Because he knows the end from the beginning. Too bad we don't or we wouldn't be so inpatient.

No, not really. If there was something I highly disagreed with, I'd have to think about re-examining my choice in religion wouldn't I?
