Well then, "Jesus" the man is forgotten then. The disciples who have died tragically in the hands of everyone seems to support it. So, all of you, hypocrites should repent if you wish... and go and proclaim the Glory of God as have teached by Him and not by the obsolete preaching from the past.
Peace although with some hevy heart to recon with.

To themom... no confusions there... somebody somewhere is giving someone a bad existence by comparing Jesus to their believed God in which as it was written.

'Jesus' as it is, had been abused and been used for their individual whims.
Why do they have to compare Jesus on their God that furtherly put Him in a mockery situation?

Jehovah is God's name, and Jesus is His son's earthly name. The verses for this you can find at Psalms 83:18, where we are told God's name, and at Matthew 3:17 where we are told that Jesus is God's son. Is this the sort of answer you were looking for? Because the question is a little confusing.

It refers to God....not Jesus. The Hebrew name of Yahweh is actually written without any vowels.....YHWH. This is referred to as the Tetragrammaton (the 4 letters). You can put in vowels and come up with either Yahweh or Jehovah, with the "J" pronounced as a "Y". Why? Because the name of God is too holy to pronounce and so no-one has ever heard the correct pronunciation. I believe that it means "I am who am" (EX 3:13-14).

It's also the reason why the Jews wanted to kills Jesus when he referred to himself as "I AM"...for the Jews, Jesus was committing blasphemy.

58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" 59At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

The website listed below will give you the origin of the name Jehovah. The name has just gone through translations, but is not limited in it's power. Christ isn't a name it's a position. Jesus Christ. Is Jesus the Christ.

The name of God in the Hebrew Scriptures was written without vowels, and traditionally was never pronounced. Recently it is often written as YHWH, a transliteration from the Hebrew.
In older English translations, it was translated as "Jehovah." More recently, it is often translated as "Yahweh." The actual pronunciation, if any, is a matter for speculation.
The name "Jesus" or "Iesus" is the Latin version of the Hebrew name which is also translated as "Joshua." It was a common man's name in New Testament times.

Some self-described Christians reject the idea of a trinity but teach that the pre-human Jesus is the "God" or "Jehovah" of the so-called "Old Testament".

This is obviously a fundamentally different theology than Jehovah's Witnesses. Jehovah's Witnesses believe the bible to teach that there are several references to Jesus in the so-called "Old Testament" which indicate that he is distinct from the "God" or "Jehovah" of the so-called "Old Testament". It is not enough to simply assert that a doctrine is true, and so Jehovah's Witnesses reason from the Scriptures on the matter...

It seems rather obvious that the apostle Luke at Acts 4:25-27 quotes from Psalms 2:1,2. Although these passages are part of the Christian and Hebrew Scriptures respectively, BOTH passages make it plain that there is an "anointed one" who is distinct from God. The Psalm plains calls that God by the name "Jehovah" (explicitly using the Tetragrammaton) and Acts plainly calls the anointed one by the name "Jesus".

(Psalm 2:1,2) [David wrote] Why have the nations been in tumult and the national groups themselves kept muttering an empty thing? 2 The kings of earth take their stand And high officials themselves have massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one

(Acts 4:24-27) [Peter, John, and fellow Christians] with one accord raised their voices to God and said: “Sovereign Lord, you are the One who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all the things in them, 25 and who through holy spirit said by the mouth of our forefather David, your servant, ‘Why did nations become tumultuous and peoples meditate upon empty things? 26 The kings of the earth took their stand and the rulers massed together as one against Jehovah and against his anointed one.’ 27 Even so, both Herod and Pontius Pilate with men of nations and with peoples of Israel were in actuality gathered together in this city against your holy servant Jesus

Similarly, the apostle Paul at 1 Cor 2:16 and Rom 11:33,34 paraphrases Isaiah 40:13. Note that Isaiah explicitly uses the name "Jehovah" (the Hebrew Tetragrammaton), and 1 Corinthians plainly CONTRASTS the mind of Jehovah with the mind of Christ Jesus.

(1 Corinthians 2:16) For “who has come to know the mind of Jehovah, that he may instruct him?” But we do have the mind of Christ.

(Romans 11:33-34) O the depth of God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How unsearchable his judgments are and past tracing out his ways are! 34 For “who has come to know Jehovah’s mind, or who has become his counselor?”

(Isaiah 40:13) Who has taken the proportions of the spirit of Jehovah, and who as his man of counsel can make him know anything?

Clearly, Jesus and Jehovah are two distinct persons. One is not "inside" the other.

Jehovah is God's name and Jesus is His son.

God's name being JEHOVAH can be found in most Bibles at Psalms 83:18.

Not really sure what you're asking but I'm sure you are aware that Jesus' name means "Jehovah Saves." That was His name from birth... no one changed it or added anything to it.
