I see lots of protesting that Israel has 'taken' Palestinian land. But do you not find it slightly hypocritical that the Dome Of The Rock has been built on the holiest Jewish site?
I mean, this is the one and only holy site for Jews. Muslims have Mecca and Medina also.
Yet Jewish people are not even allowed onto their holy site?
And even though Israel is a Jewish state they still allow Muslims into it.
Do you not think this is a little unfair?
Not trying to start an argument but was wondering about your views on this matter. Thanks.

Yes * I realise it is now a mosque. But that doesnt change its past! Couldnt it be an 'international' site. Just like Jerusalem is an 'international' city?
Wouldnt that be 'fairer'? Instead of excluding people just because you can?

'One Who Submits'. Thanks for the link. Very interesting. I will have to have a think about that.
But it did bring up some questions? IF Jews and Muslims are worshiping the same God then why the hate? What of organisations like Hamas? Whose aim is to drive Jews into the sea? What about Mohommed? And what about the Messiah?

Read that, when the Muslims ruled the Jews were allowed to their holy sites, and were actually protected. But nowadays many Arabs are not following properly, we need a just and pious Caliph to set things back in order.

The mosque can be visited by anyone. Besides, the Muslims took it from the Christians who were using it as a literal *garbage dump*, cleaned it up and made it holy again. Where were the Jews at that time? Have some appreciation.

Besides, there were probably others using the hill before the Jews ever even came, killed them and built on it. I'd like to give America back to the Native Americans, too, but it ain't happening. Things get usurped, it's how it goes.

Now in fact Yerusalem is the sacred place for 3 big religion followers i.e Muslims,Christians and Jews. There are historical Aqsa Mosque for Muslims where Muhammad pbuh went up to the skies on Mi'raj day and a weeping abyss or steepness for Jews and Cathedral. for Christians
So I think it is better if Yerusalem be as an international sacred place and do not belong to Israel country. All the three religion's followers can visit freely to their own sacred sites. It is more fair although there is no true fairness in this world

You need to read history more. The palestinians were living in palestine, a recognized region occupied by the Ottomans, when the british conscripted them to help conquer the Ottoman empire. Instead of the promise of an independent palestine, the british covertly funded jewish terrorists to infiltrate palestine and they eventually moved so many jews there they declared themselves an independent nation--in the middle of palestine. The Israelis have a lot of gall condemning the terrorists, Ariel Sharon was in fact one of the covert ops people, i.e. terrorists, that underminded palestine and helped found the state of Israel. Palestinians in Israel are not allowed to vote, there is no democracy unless you are a jew. The temple mount is an old pile of rocks, nothing holy about it yet thousands have died over it. I think it is unfair for Israel, with american backing to continue to take land that has been in palestinian hands for generations and set up their own little settlements in the name of their god because they believe they are better people than the palestinian farmers they evict.

I ask for forgiveness I don't have any reply however that's very intriguing! Did he provide an explanation for why he believed it held the Ark of the Covenant? What varieties of rooms do the tunnels result in? It's so exciting to encounter old jewels like this.

the dome of the rock

it is said that in the quran, that the rock wanted to follow prophet muhammad up into the heavens to meet god.
but it only managed to rise up a fair height ( 5ft +- ) and stayed that way till today.
the dome of the rock is built to protect the rock and the last proof of beliefs in spiritual phenomenon.

the muslim's been protecting it post muhammad till today

holy ground is still contradicting as muslims and christian were 'god's religion' before it was officialated by jesus and muhammad respectively

hope my knowledge is sufficient

Its not a matter how many monuments Muslims have... logic applies here. It is now a mosque.. so it belongs to its followers.

If we go by ur logic... there r many monuments that have been altered now... but 'old ones' dont fight with the 'new ones' by giving irrlevent arguments.
It has happened a lot in India. Many mosques are built on Temples.. and vice versa. But they dont go by the counting.

god can not be found in temples
removing people from thier homes is unfair as well ,
i see that men arquing about buildings distracts away from lesser? evils ,
i recall a certain pm visiting this site thus not all are excluded ,
i would that any can go any where paying due respects but if we are to look at wrongs we must in honesty study the whole story not just quote a verse .

The dome of the rock is there, it wan't our choice to put it there, that's where the prophet mohamed(PBUH) ascended to heaven.
If it was somewhere else than we wouldn't have the dome of the rock there.

What are you talking about.Jews are alowed at the temple mount

Israel is not a jewish state, it only happens to have lots of jews thats all.

Israel is a zionest state based on a zionist Idiology, not a jewish one. Infact it is considered blasphamy to have a jewish state untill the masiah comes to earth.
according to the jewish religion.

Muslims also alowed them to pr\ey there when muslims had it under there control.

It is not Unfair, And I explained it up top.

Feel free to E-mail me.
