No Wiccan worships the devil. And counting on your view interior the wiccan faith you're prepared to worship any god from any faith you want. Or a minimum of it truly is what I understood from my study into wicca. The devil popularized via christianity is basically a take off of the god Pan.

The devil is indeed deceptive. In the bible he is called the father of all liars. From that description, you can figure he's pretty good at it.
He deceives the world into believing there is no God, no Savior and no heaven. No need to worship the one true God.
He deceives the world into believing there are many gods. Pick one and worship him or her.
He deceives the world into believing that government is really god and you can trust your government for all your needs.
He deceives the world into believing you can be a god and need nothing else.
And he deceives everyone else into believing that he is the true savior of the world.
That gives him plenty of opportunities to take the masses with him to the lake of fire.
He does want to distract us. Distract us from the truth of God's good grace and promise of salvation.
