Do they just want to be like satan and start trouble ? Or are they drawn by God to get information that will convince them to search for the Holy Spirit ?

Why do people do good - charitable acts and etc ? I am wrong to say many of those acts are with ULTERIOR motives in seeking some form of benefit or blessings for one self ? Is that then really consider a good act ?

4 yrs ago I lost my full-time job. In the Bible it says ask and It will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and the door will be opened to you. sure I've had temporary jobs and one permanent part-time job. When I went to God in prayer I asked him please do not let it take too long for me to find a permanent daytime job. I have been doing my part. where was he? there's that poem called foot prints. but I don't buy that one, he caried me. I do not pray no more I think God has gone senile. I still believe in him, but now only at a distance. I do realize there are other people for God to help. for instance: some people lost there jobs before I did and I waited then I tried several place before another business went out. but God had to make sure they got there jobs first. Why? I need and want to work too. please help me figure this out I'm not acting spoiled, just very confused. I really thought he would help me.

Such as magic mushrooms, cannabis (they could have eaten or smoked it), salvia divinorium, and maybe even opium? They were all around at their times, and it must have been socially acceptable at the time amongst the masses.. Could they have taken them their entire lives...

With this question I'm mostly looking for mythological facts, not for opinions such as "there are no names for the levels" or any other silly answer like that. Because I already know that the levels have been given names in some mythology and religions.

I'm doing a research on this subject and want to know all the names anyone has ever heard or read in anything. A brief description of them would be nice as well. I already know the names that appear in the role-playing books of Dungeons & Dragons.

If you have web pages to justify your answer, please write them as well. I will really appreciate any input on this subject. Thank you!

I am a Christian who believes in Creation over Evolution, but I did not always feel this way. In high school I was taught evolution as fact not a theory. Since rededicating my life to Christ I have looked into evolution vs creation and found that evolution is just a theory and a flawed theory at that. So why on earth is the education department poisoning our children's mind by teaching evolution as a fact? I don't have a problem with it being raised as a theory just make sure they are given the facts and creation is also taught as an option. What do you think?

Against a non-muslim?

Islamic scripture and the actions of Muslims clearly say "no". According to Islamic scripture, Muslims must always support Muslims in conflict with non-muslims and can never question them in front of non-muslims.

Every Muslim knows that its taboo to ever question whether "kashmiries" or "palastinians" are in the right. They are Muslim, and thus they are right and deserve Muslim support.

So, what this creates is what we see today. No matter what the issue is, or how wrong the Muslim is, the entire Islamic world screams with rage at the prompting of any group of Muslims in conflict.

Muslims in Yemen dont stop and evaluate whether Phillipino Islamists have the right to blow up buses and murder civilians. They get support and funding from the Islamic world, without question.

Tell me...or better yet...LINK ME to any substantial Islamic group or leader condemning the Islamic genocide of Africans in Dafur? Its against their religion to do so...thats a fact

Example: God, if you're really going to help me out tomorrow then don't send me a sign. (pause) Alrighty then, thank you my Lord.

Since he didn't send me a sign like I asked him to it already made half the prayer come true.

Look at Savitri Devi. A French woman, went to India, converted to Hinduism, tried to link Hinduism to Nazi ideology, was a neo-nazi, wrote tons of books, etc. Thought Hitler was an avatar of Shiva.

The Bible says that many will not believe in Christ and the Bible because they don't want their love for darkness disturbed. The difference between religion and true salvation is that religion is man trying to appease God, but he doesn't want to submit to God. A genuine desire for righteousness leads one to a heart belief in Christ. This faith in Christ is accounted unto them as righteousness, for while there is nothing in mankind that can please God, Christ has done everything that needs to be done in order to cancel out the sins of the whole world...yet it is only effective when that truth is received by faith. Why won't you believe the Word of God and be forgiven?

At least there would be no guesswork involved with choosing a religion or traveling on that neverending road to find god. There would be concrete evidence that our lives, that all of human existence was just a random event, and that everything was just a coincidence. I think that would be much more soothing than becoming religious and praying to something that possibly and most likely does not even exist.

It's like how we were born. Millions of sperm. One got through to the egg. Did a god personally select that one sperm to find the egg to make an embryo? Or was it a coincidence? A random occurence? I think that believing in the random is much better than believing in god. Don't you?

Out of all the reasons for war and hate, the greatest reason is always mostly religion. Personal spirituality is a beautiful thing. But doesn't it become tainted when its mixed in with politics and economics? And who has the bloodiest hands than the vatican? Why are they never held accountable for their actions?

As a westerner and a christian, I respectfully ask why muslims suppress their sexuality so stringently on earth but expect to be rewarded with virgins in heaven?. If you don't like the way this is put, I apologize. That's the way we see it here. I truly don't understand a God like that.I

I know that most Atheists believe we are here as a result of some sort of "accident" that manifests itself as "life". And I know that atheists don't believe there was an intelligent being behind this life. (GOD)

Are there any atheists that tend to believe, or at least ponder whether there couldn't be some kind of afterlife along the same lines that they think life exists.... As some kind of "happening" or manifestation that just happens.... and not as a result of a God? Just curious

Thanks
