I Kings 17

"And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days." (verses 13-15)

I think the story you are refering to is in 1Kings 17.. around verse 16. Elijah asks a widow to feed him he rlast meal, and promises that God will provide, her meal barrel and oil never run empty.
There is a similar story found in 2 Kings chap 4 with Elisha.

This can be found in Second Kings 4:1-7. I am pretty sure this is what you are asking about. Its the only thing that comes to mind right away.
