I just had an e-mail from this so called Christian telling me that God does not give dreams and visions anymore. That is crap. Did she not read that in the last days(Which we live) God said your young men shall dream dreams and your old men shall see visions and your sons and daughters shall prophecy. She also said there is no such thing is Hell and that God will not punish the wicked for all eternity. That again is crap. She also said the story of the rich man and Larareth is a prabel not a try story. That again is crap. She must be a Jehovahs witness, because they believe the same crap she believes. Then she goes and asks me, Are you living for God? What a rude hypocrite. I cannot stand some Christians. So Christians(nice ones if any on here) how do you handle other Christians, that are blind. I cannot stand them. I would rather speak to an atheist.

There is nothing against the law in doing so. When some people hear Creation, the first thing they try to do is disprove it through opinions yet they don't give any information on how the Theory of Evolution is any more than a glorified hypothesis. Creation Science use the same scientific methods but gives room to the tought of there being a designer. Which one is more open? That is up to you.

I heard some guys talk about this in my class about religious people. I believe in God, but not sure if being religious really means you are giving up your life to God..

Can someone clear up what this statement means? Does it mean people spend their entire lives devoted to God?

We as Christians draw strength from our faith. It gives us Hope . And in many cases it keeps us on a straight and narrow path of morality. If we are wrong we live a more fulfilled life. We live a life where we strive to obey laws and just have more joy. If we are right then we enter into heaven when we die. It's a win win situation. You hurt us when you put us down. Why do you do this? As a christian I don't put you down. I wouldn't do that, I can disagree with you and still be respectful. Why can't you do the same?

I've been seeking the lords face or 5 yrs now. I have many demons in me, the lord showed me throgh suffering I raise my banner, faith increase. I seek almost 10 hrs a day was 20hrs aday in prayer. I pray with such sorrow for the holyspirit snd power, I did give all my world, work, money, possesions, everything to follow him. I find though in the last 2 yrs im taking back the world I gave him. But he called me to seek him, as well as u are the Greatseeker. Now in my eyes I've always felt Close to God. now if God called U the greatseeker, I've had dreams of rapture,I've had walking on water with Jesus, millions Praising Jesus, and The Church under One banner, wether it is Cathloic, Pentacostal..etc. off Course everyone thinks im a nut to talk to God all day, and live in such torment. they say its impossible to make the church one, in side me it says don't lesson to them for through me all thing R possible. now Im tired of seeking Gods face, Do U think I have a Great purpose or not?

You would think if he experience anything beyond the grave, he would have said something?
He was dead for four days, he must have went somewhere,or did he stay in the grave?

Some baptize repeating the words father son and holy ghost but no one in the Bible ever did it that way. The Bible said to baptize in the NAME of so it does not mean in the NAMES father son and Holy Ghost.

Modern literary theory (deconstructionism) suggests that two people can't even read a People magazine article the same way. If the Bible can be deconstructed, then isn't a literal interpretation of the Bible a pipedream?.

I am looking for a very conservation Christian denomination, but without the weird elements found in the Mormon church and in the Jehovah's Witnesses. By "weird" I mean such things as the Book of Mormon, polygamy, the ban on blood transfusions, etc. But I do want a church denomination that, like the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses, takes evangelization very seriously, and which views all other church denominations as heretics or infidels.

A friend of mine who was active in Church and spread god's word and did a lot of good by helping out the poor. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor and given a 5% chance of beating it and a 80% chance of bieng dead within 6 months. His wife was 6 weeks pregnant with their first child. The Dr's tried to keep him alive to see his baby but they missed by 2 1/2 weeks. In the same hospital there was another with the same problem, he was 19 years into a 20 year prison term for raping a child. He got better, got out of prison and raped another child and is back inside. If there is a god why does he let this happen? If there is a god why would you follow someone who lets this happen?

How come everytime someone asks a question about homosexuality some people quote Bible verses that say they should be 'put to death' and they are 'detestable'?
I agree that homosexuality is not what God intends but those Bible verses are out of context and should only be used in conjunction with information that says:
1. God loves everyone - he detests sin not people
2. God detest all sin - including lying, gossip, slander and judgementalism
3. Jesus died so that no-one would have to 'be put to death' for their sins

The worst way to show someone that their ways are not in line with God's will is to misrepresent the grace of God.
