Biblephilia - what's your deffinition? (besides the obvious - give symptoms)?

compelling, thought provoking, interesting and I think VERY accurate definitions so far - thank you and keep them coming please.

There is one answer that didn't seem to understand the question completly. ____philia are not good things.

Still, I can't pick the best answer so time for a vote.

If that answer I refer to gets picked, it will confirm all the other answers.

Absolutes given ahead of their time to people to confirm to them that all people ever born will have a fantastic future awaiting them at Christ's return to the earth. Some of the symptoms are: Hope, sense of purpose, happiness, meekness, peace maker, seeker to do good for others, - make this world a better place to be in.

Perverse rapist of scripture. Will use scripture to judge,debate, argue and self satisfaction while holding pride in a very narcissist way. Many of these types prance about on yahoo answers and go after many other sects of Christianity.

if someone asks the time or weather, you quote a scripture from said readily handy bible with no context to the question, just another excuse to spout scriptures you do not understand, not even a bit save what your cool pastor told you to think about it based on his doctrines and his gure who also knows nothing

willing to swear on said bible just to lie in court (even a stack of bibles) as if it gives creedance to what you experienced
