At work, a lot of religious people will come in and hand people pamphlets and other stuff we all just throw away and then throw them out for. So, for me, it's not that big of a deal because I can simply tell them if they don't leave me and the customers alone, I will have them thrown out.

Today, however, while I was ringing people up, something different happened. A little girl asked me if I "knew Jesus." Not wanting to be mean to a 10-year-old I told her "Not personally." Then she replied with, "No! Do you have Jesus in your heart? Were you baptized?"

I looked at her grandmother, and she only smiled, which really pissed me off that she let her kid do that. For all she knows, I'm Jewish or some other religion. She doesn't KNOW I'm an athiest (though I am)

I simply told the little girl, "Well, maybe! have a good day!" And ushered them off. I wasn't sure how else to handle it. I didn't want to lie, but I didn't want to be mean.

There seems to be a debate over Evolution & Creation.

I have a question for Evolution believers, all the evidence I have seen shows the opposite, mutation & natural selection remove information.

Can you show me one case of increased information since this is what evolution is based on?

I see a lot of people who could use the book, "How to win friends and Influence People." Of course, if their sole intention is to insult, belittle, degrade, slander, abuse and attack then they should by all means carry on as usual.

Is there a biblical reason for it because God is supposed to have created people in His image and it was only when they sinned that they themselves got the idea of wearing clothes. Clothing should therefore be seen as a sign that people have sins to hide and are headed in the wrong direction spiritually.

The first recorded mention of distillation was made by Abul Kasim, a 10th-century Arabian physician. At first only wine was distilled, but soon afterward other fermented products were employed. The process of distillation not only concentrates the alcohol, but also removes from the beverage a large portion of the unpleasant-tasting impurities. If rectification (purification by repeated or by fractional distillation) is carried too far, however, all the flavoring elements are removed with the impurities, and pure alcohol is produced. Consequently, in the distillation of potable liquor, the process is only partly completed, and the remaining impurities are removed by filtration of the liquor through charcoal and by aging in charred wooden barrels. During aging, the impurities, which consist mostly of a mixture of higher alcohols, are in part oxidized to acids that react with the remaining alcohols to form pleasantly flavored esters. The flavoring material remaining in the finished bevera

because they've come to the conclusion there is no God? When in all actuality they might be the most ignorant, b/c they don't recognize an intelligent being is the Creator of all the perfection that exists around them. And based on all the major religions, there is hell to pay if you are wrong.

In this weekend's Kansas City snow storm, I noted a long list of churches scrolling across my TV screen showing all the churches who would not be holding services due to the heavy snow. The only religion I didn't see was Jehovah's Witnesses.

I know that the JWs has a system in place whereby in the event of a cancellation, or a disaster, elders make sure every member can be notified within an hour. In the event of a disaster, like Katrina, they have to report to the Overseer, who has to report to the Circuit Servant, who reports to the District Servant, that everyone has been accounted for.

Why can't all churches do this? It is simple to do, just have the church elders call the members they are assigned to shepard. Why rely on such an unreliable system as posting the names of the churches on the TV News? What would they do in the event of a disaster?

As you know, Hinduism predates Christianity by a couple of thousand years. It is also estimated to be the 3rd largest religion in the world.

Question:

Do you believe that any hindu gods actually exist? YES or NO

This is a hindu prayer to grow hair:
Born from the bosom of wide earth the goddess, god- like plant, art thou: So we, Nitatni! dig thee up to strengthen and fix fast the hair. Make the old firm, make new hair spring, lengthen what has already grown. Thy hair where it is falling off, and with the roots is torn away, I wet and sprinkle with the plant, the remedy for all disease.

Source: Atharva-Veda VI, 22

Question: Do you believe this prayer has any effect whatsoever on the regrowth of hair (other than maybe a placebo effect)? YES or NO

I used 4 oz. of grapeseed oil and about 1.5-2 oz of spearmint/peppermint. I slow cooked it in my crock pot for 3 hours on the lowest setting, and stirred it every 15-20 minutes. Now, after it's all said and done, how come the oil doesn't smell like mint?
